Birria Smash Burger tacos are the fusion food of my dreams! #shorts

this is a beia Smashburger taco and you have to try it we’re going to start by heating up some of the fat from our beia before we place down our seasoned ground beef then we can dip a flour tortilla and beia consum place it over the top and smash it down now we’re going to let it cook for about 2 minutes before we flip it top it off with some cheese and give that some time to melt then we can head inside to finish it up and you’re going to need some ingredients from the video we posted yesterday like the shredded short rib this was incredible and it’s recipes like this that are the reason I love making Fusion dishes definitely give it a shot

Birria is the best… and so are Smash Burger Tacos! I’ve tried a few versions after seeing my buddy @chilesandsmoke break the internet with them last year, and this is my favorite yet!

If you missed the Birria video from yesterday, it’s important to start by making that if you want to give this a try!

3-4 oz burger Patties seasoned with Salt and Pepper
Flour tortillas
Birria Fat, skimmed off the top of Birria Consome.
Birria Consome
Shredded Birria Short rib
White onion, diced
Cilantro, chopped

Start by making Birria the night before! Let the shredded beef and strained Consome sit in the fridge to develop additional flavor. The fat on top of the consome will settle, and harden. Remove this so it can be used for cooking.

Heat your griddle to high, and once it’s up to temp place down your seasoned beef patties. Dip a flour tortilla in Birria consome, place it over the top of the beef and smash it down using parchment paper to make sure it doesn’t stick.

Let it cook for about 2 minutes, flip it, place down shredded Oaxaca cheese, and move it to the cool side of the griddle to melt.

Head inside and to finish the taco, add shredded short rib, white onion, and cilantro. Heat up some of the consome in a separate bowl, add more white onions and cilantro to that and serve alongside the taco!
