Best Banana Bread – EASY Air Fryer Recipe! Gluten-free + Vegan!
Did you know bananas are healthiest when they’re covered in brown spots? That’s when they have the highest level of antioxidants! Today we’re making our beloved banana bread – in the air fryer – and it is all sorts of crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside deliciousness! It’s EASY, too. Here’s how:
4 bananas mashed
1 T. good vanilla (Mexican vanilla is a game-changer!)
1 cup GF oats (we like Bob’s Red Mill organic)
1/2 cup GF flour of choice (this time I used almond, but it has worked with others as well. Have you ever tried amaranth? Delicious!)
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt and 1 t. cinnamon (I always go heavy on the cinnamon so add a little more if you’re like me and love it!)
((generous)) handful of HU vegan chocolate chips
handful of chopped walnuts
350 degrees for 12-15 minutes! We have a tiny air fryer so the above ingredients made two batches for us. FYI – Be sure to eat same-day for optimal deliciousness. This isn’t one that keeps that incredible crunchiness for longer.
