  1. Man, this sure looks tasty, but you know what's even tastier? Man.

Man is the tastiest and most enjoyable food humanity has produced in their 780000 years of living on this earth. Oh they've tried to make better meat, but you really cannot improve upon perfection. First, the texture. The outside layer of Man can range from soft and chewy to tough and almost crunchy, depending on the individual Man itself and where it is on the body. Personally, I enjoy both about equally, but I've seen some differing opinions. Inside, they're mostly chewy, with some nice crunch liberally sprinkled about in there. The very top of their body is fairly tough and stringy, which I personally don't care for, but some have professed to having it be their favorite part.

Next, the taste. The outside is often fairly tasteless, but it's really the texture that's important there. However, the inside is amazing. The tastes will range from sweet around the middle of the body, to salty near the top, and a very strong sourness at the bottom. I myself am not particularly a fan of the bottom, I  more tend to enjoy the saltiness up top, although many do like and even prefer it.

Even if you aren't hungry, Man are filled with a delicious and refreshing juice to quench your thirst. It can also be easily drained out and stored for a quick drink later. I prefer it cold usually, but it's incredibly nice to drink hot on a cold night.

I have a few personal favorite parts to eat. Near the top, just under the stringy stuff, there are some delectable little round things, which are easy to remove, have a wonderful texture, and possess a wonderful mixture of saltiness and sweetness. In the center, there is a pair of amazingly light and puffy morsels. You have to remove some hard bits to get to them, but they are well worth it in my opinion. Despite their size, they're incredibly light, and take little to no effort to chew. The taste isn't as good as the round things up top, but the texture is quite satisfying. The fun thing about them is that they're hollow, which means you can fill them with additional meat or even use them as a cup for storing the Man liquid.

If you don't like Man raw, there have been some amazing recipes developed over the centuries.  I'm partial to "Sphere Insuction" myself, which combines both of my favorite parts of Man. You take the pair of hollow meat chunks, and you fill them up with the round balls and cook them up in a pot of juice. Another popular recipe involves crumbling up the hard pieces into some juice, which makes an amazing sauce to put over the larger portions of meat.

Finally, some useful tips on consuming Man.
-Make sure to always wash it thoroughly before eating. They tend to get covered in filth and dirt, which is not very tasty or healthy.
-In my opinion, it's usually a good idea to make sure the Man is dead before eating them. Not only is it cruel to do it while they live, it's also incredibly difficult to focus on finding the giid parts when they're making so much noise and moving so much. Although, I must admit that eating them alive can make them a lot saltier, especially my favorite round bits.
-Make sure that you don't eat a sick Man. They tend to taste way worse. In addition, they can carry many horrible diseases, some of which can infect you if you eat them. Potential signs that they're sick are sluggish movement, abnormal coloring, and/or ejecting their own fluid from their body.
I hope this helps you decide on your next meal! Although the food shown here is also pretty tasty looking, so you have some good options.

  2. My sister my mom and I put a few slivers of beet in a larger smoothie with banana, strawberry and blueberry (I think) and banana flavor is super strong in smoothies. It tasted completely like beets and dirt.
