💃 5 minute salsa #shorts

This is such a delicious and easy salsa recipe that you are going to be obsessed with. It takes just five minutes and comes together in a blender with no effort at all!

RECIPES (lends approximately 2 cups of salsa)

2 14.5 oz cans Diced Tomatoes
1 red onion, roughly chopped
2 cloves garlic
2 jalapeño peppers, roughly chopped, deseeded if you don’t like spice
1 large handful cilantro
1 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar

Blitz all ingredients in a food processor or blender until desired consistency. Enjoy immediately, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

HOMEMADE TORTILLA CHIPS

4 to 5 whole wheat or corn tortillas
.
Preheat the oven to 400F.
.
Slice the tortillas into “chip” sized triangles and disperse evenly across a baking sheet. Spray with oil to lend a crispier result.

Place in the oven for 3 to 4 minutes, until hard. Enjoy with salsa as desired.

  1. How is it healthy, when the main ingredient is tin based. Any idea when was the tomatoes packed? If it’s an hour ago, then yes healthy. Else total junk as the tin packing will hv preservatives and sugar .

  2. Here’s what you did wrong you’re supposed to use a pestle and mortar not a blender or food processor you need to roast your vegetables and you want fresh tomatoes or tomatillos or both and you have to roast all your vegetables and a grill oven or a pan

  3. The reason you don’t wanna use a blender or food processor is cause the salsa will get foamy and you don’t want that using a pestle and mortar will make sure that it never gets foamy
