Recipe of the week – Beef Back Ribs
Ingredients:
-1 rack of beef back ribs
-3 tablespoons of mustard (yellow or Dijon)
-2 tablespoons dry rub (Cluck & Squeal Rib Formula)
-1/2 cup barbecue sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions:
1.Start by preparing your beef back ribs. Place the rack of ribs on a clean surface, and use a paper towel to pat them dry. This helps the mustard and rub stick better.
2.Take 3 tablespoons of mustard and rub it evenly on both sides of the ribs. The mustard acts as a binder for the dry rub and adds flavor to the crust.
Generously sprinkle your dry rub on both sides of the ribs, pressing it gently to ensure it sticks. Make sure the ribs are evenly coated.
3. Transfer the ribs to a roasting tray. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Roast the ribs uncovered for 1 hour.
4. While the ribs roast, heat your barbecue sauce in a small pot or microwave. Once the ribs are done with the first hour, take them out of the oven and brush them with a generous layer of sauce. Then, cover the tray with parchment paper and aluminum foil and return it to the oven. Roast for another hour at 300°F.
5. After the second hour, remove the ribs from the oven, discard the foil, and glaze the ribs again. Once the ribs are beautifully glazed, slice and serve.
Enjoy!
