🐙🦐 Ceviche de Pulpo y Camarón Attempt by Korean #ceviche #shorts #mexicanfood
Recipe
Ceviche de Pulpo y Camarón
Chopped octopus
Chopped shrimp, peeled and deveined
Enough lime juice to submerge the seafood
2-3 Roma-sized tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/3 to 1/2 cucumber, seeded and chopped
1/4 onion, finely chopped
1-2 hot pepper, finely chopped
1 avocado, chopped
Finely chopped cilantro
Salt to taste
Black pepper, optional
Submerge the octopus and shrimp in lime juice and cure for 6–8 hours (I had sashimi grade shrimp, so I cured it for less). After curing, mix with tomatoes, cucumber, onion, hot pepper, avocado, cilantro, salt, and black pepper if using.
Salsa Falsa Habanero
5 mini bell peppers, preferably yellow and orange
1 Roma-sized tomato
1/4 onion
1 garlic clove
1/3 to 1/2 cup neutral cooking oil
Dried hot peppers, to taste
Water
Knorr chicken bouillon
Salt
Fry the bell peppers, tomato, onion, and garlic in neutral oil until they get some color. Add the dried hot peppers and fry briefly, but do not burn dried peppers. Let the oil cool slightly, then blend everything together with the oil, water, Knorr chicken bouillon, and salt.

Dude I’m a Mexican trying to cook Korean food, im currently a sous chef at a Korean kitchen. I love the food,
My favorite dish so far is Bossam! It’s so delicious with the lettuce and ssamjang!
Pretty sure the most purist mexican chefs would use very similar ingredients because yeah that ceviche looks amazing
That looks hella good
I've been using MSG and garlic powder for the ceviche and it gives it so much more flavor.
On hot days, I like to add diced ripe mango and strawberries, not sure if you've made Aguachile yet, but also one of my favs, let me know and I'll send the recipe. It's BOMB.
You could cook Pollo en escabeche i think Korea may have all the ingredients you'll need to make it

Pro avocado tip #2 wrap green avocado in newspaper and place next to your fridge, microwave or near a window for faster ripening. Remember get green avocados the less shine the better.
You’re welcome for that last tip.
You could grow some red pepper plants if you have a window with some space. I useful to grow spicy ones in my apartment.
