The lounge, which you can use right away, has a great view! The rooms are spacious and have a great view! And the dinner is absolutely top-notch! The food from the live kitchen is especially delicious! Plus, there’s all-you-can-drink alcohol, and even local beer! Sauteed red sea bream and roast beef with seaweed and oyster sauce! From oyster rice to seafood-packed paella, everything is delicious! And the hot springs are amazing! Freshly renovated and beautiful, the indoor bath is perfect for relaxing, and the open-air infinity bath with its incredible sense of openness was amazing! The curry udon served for dinner was sinfully delicious! Breakfast also offers a wide variety of side dishes, seafood, and Western dishes! The seafood bowl, bonito chazuke, and eggs Benedict were all amazing! Depending on the date and plan, the price is just over 19,000 yen per person! (As of October 2025) This time, I hope to share the charms of TAOYA Minamishima, Mie Prefecture, and Shima City. Thank you for your continued support! First, we headed from the Meishin Expressway to the Shin-Meishin Expressway… and then to the Ise Expressway! We got off at Tsu IC in Mie Prefecture…and headed to Uokyu, a seafood restaurant! Apparently , their seafood bowl is incredibly delicious! Seafood sesame sauce rice bowl set meal First up is my partner’s seafood sesame sauce rice bowl! Looks delicious! Seafood bowl set meal This seafood bowl is so beautiful… and looks delicious! I poured soy sauce on it (excited) Wow! The fish was so plump, it was bouncy! Delicious! My favorite salmon, with the skin on! Super tasty! My partner’s marinated rice bowl was also delicious with the sesame sauce! (And the fish, of course) It was a great start! Thank you for the meal! We set off for Minami-Shima! …It started to rain… We took the back roads from Tsu! About an hour and a half from Tsu… we could see TAOYA Minami-Shima! What a beautiful location right by the sea! The weather is bad, but I’m looking forward to it! Thank you for your hospitality, TAOYA Minami-Shima! Now, let’s head to check in! There are colorful yukatas behind the front desk. There are so many to choose from! The lobby is also really nice! You can enjoy the lounge before entering your room! (Starting at 2 PM) We have coffee, tea, and soft drinks, as well as snacks like persimmon seeds, mixed nuts, and dried fruit! We also have beer, highballs, and lemon sours! Wow! They even have wine, gin, plum wine, and shochu. Oh, our favorite, DAIYAME! And there’s a hearth in the lounge. The fire is burning, creating a great atmosphere! Now, let’s start with some alcohol! (The two are excited) Let ‘s start with a beer! Since we’re here , we’ll enjoy it while looking at the ocean! Wow, what a beautiful view! (Though it’s cloudy) So… let ‘s toast ! Ah, the beer is delicious! The view is beautiful, too! My partner even made a cola float! We toasted with DAIYAME shochu, which we both love! We ended up drinking a lot all of a sudden! We chose a colorful yukata and headed to our room! I chose a really colorful one! My partner had a more subdued look. There’s a wide selection! We got into our room just before 3 PM! Yay! This time, we had a room on the 7th floor! We walked through a calming hallway…and then we entered the room! The key was the old-fashioned type. [Non-smoking] Standard twin room with indoor bath. Wow , it’s so spacious! And the view already looks great! This sofa with a view of the ocean is amazing! And the view from the room …is amazing. It would have been even better if it was sunny… Back to the room! The bed is simple and large! There’s an outlet and light switch on the bed board. Convenient. Next to the sofa is a Sharp humidifier/air purifier. There’s also a luggage stand, which is nice! (There are slippers too.) The TV isn’t a smart TV, but it’s easy to watch! Under the TV are two bottles of mineral water and a kettle! There were towels on the shelf near the entrance, and a basket for the hot spring! Below that is a refrigerator. It was regular size! And here is the closet. There were haori coats and hangers inside! Of course, there was air conditioning! Next, the bathroom. First, the washroom. It’s a little old, but it was clean! The hair dryer was by Koizumi! Next, we checked the bathroom. It was spacious with a washing area! Next, the toilet had a washlet! There was also a hand washing area! Yes, it was a very calming and lovely room. The view was amazing, and it was a really nice room! After a short rest in the room… I explored the building and headed to the bath! First, the lobby floor. There were plenty of chairs with a view of the outside, which was great! There were vending machines, so it was a no-brainer if you forgot to buy something! You can also play table tennis, a hot spring staple! (Reservations required, free) Playing table tennis while enjoying a beautiful view is great! And then, I discovered something interesting in the lounge I visited earlier! Creamy curry udon for dinner! I had to come! Now, let’s head to the bath! Of course, combs and razors are also available! Now, let’s go to the bathroom! Let’s pour some water over ourselves! And here there’s a cold bath! …which means there’s a sauna too, of course! And the washing area is quite spacious! Clean! The shower was by Mirable! Now let’s take a look at the indoor bath! Wow, the glass is so wide you can see the view! Even though the weather was bad, the bath had a fantastic view! And then there’s the infinity open-air bath, which the inn is so proud of ! It’s also nice that it’s at the end of the corridor! Now, the infinity open-air bath opens! It’s so spacious! It feels so open! This is definitely an infinity open-air bath! (Too bad it’s cloudy…) You can soak in the hot spring while looking out at the ocean as far as the eye can see. It’s so relaxing! It’s a sodium chloride cold mineral spring, so it’s also good for those who are sensitive to cold! Next is the women’s bath! (There is no switching between men and women) This is also a very spacious and clean changing room! The women’s cosmetics were Sekkisei! The hair dryers were by Dyson, ReFa, and Panasonic! (These are good ones.) There are also plenty of lockers here, which is great! (There is also a baby bed) And there are plenty of washing areas here! The shower head here is by Refa! You can also see the sunset, which has been selected as one of the 100 best sunsets in Japan, so you can enjoy both the ocean and the sunset! The water is so gentle on the skin that I’ve come back many times! And after the bath, there’s the post-bath lounge! You can enjoy lemon sours, highballs, and draft beer! Of course, they also have soft drinks, and you can even have ice cream after your bath! This time, I decided to have a post-bath beer! After enjoying a delicious post-bath beer, you can also enjoy a massage chair! There were five zero-gravity massage machines, which were very relaxing!
