Today we’re going to cook Tom Yamong, a spicy and sour soup with fresh shrimp and aromatic herbs. It’s quick, it’s easy, and most importantly, it’s freaking delicious. Let’s get started. First, we’ll add the shrimp. Next, we’ll pour in the water and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, we’ll add the lemongrass, gangal, lime leaves, and chili. Now, we just want to let this simmer for a few minutes so the flavors can develop. While the soup is simmering, let’s prepare our dipping sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, sugar, salt, garlic, and chili powder. This is going to be so good. Once the soup is ready, we’ll serve it up with some fresh cilantro and mint. And don’t forget the dipping sauce. And here is our final dish. It is so so delicious. The shrimp are juicy and succulent, and the soup is both spicy and sour.
