TOKYO’S BEST LITTLE RESTAURANT (AKA The TabiEats Diner)
Totoratei is possibly the best little restaurant in Tokyo! Awesome food, great people and amazing stories await you! Subscribe! http://goo.gl/18SB8p
If you are planning a visit to Tokyo, we invite you to visit Totoratei, one of the best restaurants in the city. Located in Nogata on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, it’s just 6 stations away from Seibu Shinjuku Station. We come here often enough that you just might bump into us!
Lunch is a great value at just 1200yen for a complete meal. However for the best experience, we recommend going there for dinner. Best seats in the house are the counter seats. Since there are just 4 seats at the counter, if you’d like to sit here, we recommend making reservations ahead of time. The owner, Eiji-san speaks a little English so you should have no problem. Don’t forget to let him know that you heard about his place through Tabieats and we just may come and visit you during you meal!

Price of meal. Price of drinks.
Yes
Congratulations to the restaurant, owner, cook! It's very good to see how you pick up international food, make and serve it. Also good to see they have Hungarian food, too 😉👌😗😀 Thanks guys for making this video about this lovely restaurant and share with us. All the best in the future
Have you guys come back here for the Greek and Hungarian food? Please do if you haven't..
Totoratei is now on my bucket list!
I must visit this place.
I really enjoyed this video. All the food looked amazing! I love the concept of having all kinds of cuisine in one place!
凄く良い店❗️大嫌いな奴が住んでなければ行ってたな〜〜ww
Hi guys!! In our home..my mom used to make taco salad when I was an kid. Very different from the taco salad you get at American Mexican places. Your Taco rice reminds me of it!!! The only difference is we put a layer of tortilla chips, then rice, taco meat and the lettuce, tomato and cheese. It’s also very good. 😀
P.S. some ppl also have sour cream and salsa on the side.
Hearing pirogi called potato gyoza blew my mind to think of it that way and I bet those pirogi would be just as good as grandmas. This place is definitely a place I want to see when in Tokyo.
It is March 16, 2020, and I am watching your lovely channel from NYC. After I watched you Katz's Deli video [and commented, lol ] I watched your top 10 plus 1 on places to visit in Japan, and it brought me to this video of this wonderful couple. You both are adorable and I truly enjoy the vicarious experience of watching you eat and share your travels with us.
The owners seem just lovely and the food looks amazing!
Taco rice! When I visited Japan, I had heard of the new dishes that developed around military bases in Japan.I had the opportunity to try curry in Sasebo (from the British navy), hamburger in Iwakuni (the best), and taco rice in Yokohama. Not the places typicallyassociated with each dish: Sasebo burger, naval curry in Yokosuka, and Okinawan taco rice.
The owners are dolls! Thanks for sharing this cute & cozy restaurant 💕Served with pirohy (yes, it is a kind of Central European ravioli) is sour cream.
Must see you more at Tabieats Diner! It is wonderful to see you there with them!
Was so shocked when Satoshi said he wanted wine. 😱
But then couldn’t resist his beer! 😂
The owners are too cute. I can see why you love that place. Hope to visit Japan one day. 🙏🏽
This is an extraordinary video!
Your friendship with the owners makes it lovely and delicious to experience from the northlands of Minnesota in America. Each dish that you chose made my mouth water and WANT to taste it! Yum!
I also love your cooking videos alongside your mom, (who is much younger than me).
You two are wonderful people.
My friend, who lives outside of Finland, Minnesota, is a fan of TabiEats, and urged me to look at your channel!! I am now a dedicated fan, too!!
Thank you, Satoshi and Shinichi!! Our world is truly a better place because of you and your adventurous spirits!
If you decide to visit Minnesota, your fans and I will host and "wine & dine" you! Wild rice, beer brewed in Duluth (located on the north shore of Lake Superior), smoked trout caught in Lake Superior (the deepest, cleanest, most beautiful of America's Great Lakes), and glorious Japanese-Minnesota-food-renditions and desserts (adzuki filled mochi handmade by PokerGirls, etc), to keep you smiling all the way back to Tokyo.

Thank you for your creative and fun-loving, delish videos that have made the pandemic isolation bearable.

This is one of your very best videos! I love the owner and the chef. They are so friendly, like Sinichi and Satoshi!!
What a cool restaurant, the shop owners are so nice.
Hi Satoshi and Shinichi good to see you guy's be safe
Food looks very delicious. Lovely people too
The chicken and bread look amazing!
The restaurant is closing/moving
The owner is handsome 😍
I don't know why, but this video really made me tear up (and I saw that you have another video that they're closing and moving locations) with joy. Everyone is just so nice and happy and it's all very wholesome. It fills my heart up with something that's missing from my own life. Long live TabiEats! <3
So interesting! Hope I can go there, planning to visit Japan on November this year.
❤
