    If you are planning a visit to Tokyo, we invite you to visit Totoratei, one of the best restaurants in the city. Located in Nogata on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, it’s just 6 stations away from Seibu Shinjuku Station. We come here often enough that you just might bump into us!

    Lunch is a great value at just 1200yen for a complete meal. However for the best experience, we recommend going there for dinner. Best seats in the house are the counter seats. Since there are just 4 seats at the counter, if you’d like to sit here, we recommend making reservations ahead of time. The owner, Eiji-san speaks a little English so you should have no problem. Don’t forget to let him know that you heard about his place through Tabieats and we just may come and visit you during you meal!

      Hi guys!! In our home..my mom used to make taco salad when I was an kid. Very different from the taco salad you get at American Mexican places. Your Taco rice reminds me of it!!! The only difference is we put a layer of tortilla chips, then rice, taco meat and the lettuce, tomato and cheese. It’s also very good. 😀

      P.S. some ppl also have sour cream and salsa on the side.

      Hearing pirogi called potato gyoza blew my mind to think of it that way and I bet those pirogi would be just as good as grandmas. This place is definitely a place I want to see when in Tokyo.

      It is March 16, 2020, and I am watching your lovely channel from NYC.  After I watched you Katz's Deli video [and commented, lol ] I watched your top 10 plus 1 on places to visit in Japan, and it brought me to this video of this wonderful couple.  You both are adorable and I truly enjoy the vicarious experience of watching you eat and share your travels with us.

      Taco rice! When I visited Japan, I had heard of the new dishes that developed around military bases in Japan.I had the opportunity to try curry in Sasebo (from the British navy), hamburger in Iwakuni (the best), and taco rice in Yokohama. Not the places typicallyassociated with each dish: Sasebo burger, naval curry in Yokosuka, and Okinawan taco rice.

      Your friendship with the owners makes it lovely and delicious to experience from the northlands of Minnesota in America. Each dish that you chose made my mouth water and WANT to taste it! Yum!

      I don't know why, but this video really made me tear up (and I saw that you have another video that they're closing and moving locations) with joy. Everyone is just so nice and happy and it's all very wholesome. It fills my heart up with something that's missing from my own life. Long live TabiEats! <3
