How to Make Tender Oven-Baked Ribs That Taste Like BBQ! 🍖
No grill? No problem. These oven baked ribs are juicy, tender, and packed with flavor—no smoker required. Low and slow is the name of the game here, and a quick broil at the end gives you that sticky, caramelized finish everyone loves.
Whether you’re feeding a crowd or just treating yourself, this easy method guarantees finger-lickin’ ribs every single time. Perfect for weeknights, weekends, or anytime your cravings say BBQ.

🔥 What’s inside:
• Pork ribs (baby back or spare)
• A simple dry rub
• A slow bake for max tenderness
• Your favorite BBQ sauce + a broil for that sweet, sticky crust
Serve ’em with coleslaw, cornbread, or straight off the tray with extra napkins. Trust me—these ribs won’t last long.

INGREDIENTS
▢ 1 rack baby back ribs about 2 ½-3 pounds
▢ 3 tablespoons yellow mustard
▢ 2 tablespoons Montreal steak seasoning
▢ 1 cup barbecue sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. It’s easy to do if you loosen it with a butter knife and then carefully pull it off.
2. Rub the ribs with yellow mustard on both sides. Generously coat the ribs with the seasoning mix (both sides as well).
3. Wrap the ribs with a large sheet of aluminum foil. Wrap them tightly to seal in the moisture. Refrigerate the ribs in the oven at least 3-4 hours, or overnight.
4. When you’re ready to cook the ribs, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
5. Place the foil wrapped ribs on a large baking sheet. Bake for 2 hours.
6. Remove the ribs and turn the oven on broil. Place the rack in the middle of the oven.
7. Remove the ribs from the aluminum foil. ( Generously slather side one of the ribs with half the bbq sauce. Broil for 5 minutes side one.
8. Remove the ribs, flip them over and slather the remaining sauce over side two. Return them them to the oven and broil for an additional 4-5 minutes. Keep an eye on the ribs, it may take a few minutes less on side two. Enjoy, the ribs will be tender, caramlized and delicious!
