Craving a quick, healthy snack? Today I’m sharing three fruity protein toast recipes that are not only super easy to make but also perfect for a wholesome and delicious snack on the go! Each toast packs around 16g of protein and is full of flavour. The best part? You can easily customise them with your favourite fruits and toppings to suit your taste!. Perfect for breakfast, snack, or post-workout fuel!
High-Protein Fruity Toasts (3 Ways) – Berry, Mango & Banana
Ingredients (Base Creamy Filling):
225 g grated paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
½ cup plain thick yogurt (Skyr, Greek, or any variety)
3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
Step 1: Make the Creamy Filling
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the grated paneer, thick yogurt, and honey or maple syrup.
Mix well until smooth and creamy.
Divide the filling into three equal portions for the three toast variations.
🫐 1. Berry Protein Toast
Ingredients:
¼ tsp vanilla extract or essence
A handful of fresh raspberries and blueberries (or strawberries)
Flaked almonds (or any nuts/seeds)
1 slice of bread (toasted)
Instructions:
To one portion of the creamy base, add the vanilla and fresh berries.
Lightly crush the berries using a spoon and mix them into the filling.
Spread the berry filling over a toasted slice of your favorite bread.
Top with more fresh berries and flaked almonds (or nuts/seeds of your choice).
🥭 2. Mango Toast
Ingredients:
¼ tsp cinnamon powder
some chopped ripe mango
Pumpkin and sunflower seeds (or any chopped nuts)
1 slice of bread (toasted)
Instructions:
To the second portion of the filling, add cinnamon powder and chopped mango.
Lightly mash the mango pieces and mix everything together.
Spread the mango filling over a toasted slice of bread.
Top with extra mango pieces and a sprinkle of seeds or nuts.
Your tropical mango toast is ready!
🍌 3. Chocolate Banana PB Toast
Ingredients:
½ tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 small banana, sliced
1 tbsp peanut butter (or any nut butter)
1 slice of bread (toasted)
Instructions:
Add cocoa powder to the third portion of the creamy base and mix well.
Spread this chocolate filling over a toasted slice of bread.
Top with banana slices and drizzle peanut butter on top.
This rich, satisfying chocolate-banana toast is ready to enjoy!
💡 Tips:
Use multigrain, whole wheat, or sourdough bread for a wholesome base.
