Homemade Mayonnaise in less than 2 minutes with 3 INGREDIENTS ONLY #Shorts

RECIPE:

1 egg (preferably pasteurized*)
190 ml vegetable oil – I used 150 ml sunflower oil + 40 ml olive oil – (3/4 cup + 2 tbsps)
15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
Salt (optional)

Some people like to add in also some Dijon mustard. I prefer it without.

*NOTE:
While it’s generally safe to consume raw eggs, some eggs may contain a harmful bacteria called Salmonella which can cause food poisoning. For this reason, it is suggested to use pasteurized eggs.

Blend until creamy at a medium speed.
You can store it in the fridge for 2-3 days.

  2. Only olive oil makes true MAHONESA.
    The MAHONESA sauce takes its name from Mahón (currently Maó), capital of Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.
    Regardless of what the Real Academia de la Lengua Española, RAE (Royal Academy of the Spanish Language) says, and the widespread use of the incorrect name worldwide, you can consult the documented work that the Spanish Nobel and Cervantes laureate, etc., Camilo José Cela, did years ago on the subject… will you continue using the 'Y' instead of the 'H'? Well, that: not 'mayonnaise' neither 'maionese', nor ‘mayo”, but MAHONESA.
    Our gastronomy is part of our culture.

  3. I wouldn’t recommend vegetable oil due to the soybean in it. I would use Avocado, Coconut or Olive instead.

  4. Did not work 😢.
    First i put one egg and 1 tbsp lemon juice as instructed and then added oil (not olive oil) and blended in mixie (blender). Then gradually added oil too. But it did not become the right consistency nor did it taste good (tasted lemony in a bad way) they again i added a small egg and some more oild too. Became milky but not the mayonnaise consistency nor did it taste like mayonnaise.
    In the end my blender got heated.

    What should i have done??

    2•Salt.
    3•Sugar.
    4•¼ cup Colestrol (oil).
    5•Blend in mixer grinder.
    6•¼ cup Colestrol (oil).
    7•vinegar.
    8•Blend in mixer grinder.
    9•¼ cup Colestrol (oil).
    10•Your colestrol mayonnaise is ready.
