Crunchy and Soft! Cheesy Garlic Toast Recipe
Garlic Cheese Toast Recipe:
You’ll need 4 slices of sandwich bread.
Garlic: Separate and peel 6 cloves.
Grab a garlic press.
Crush the garlic cloves and put them in a bowl.
Parsley: Remove the leaves from the stems.
Finely chop the leaves and add them to the bowl.
Butter: You’ll need 3 chunks (about 6 tablespoons).
Add a pinch of salt.
Mix everything.
Spread this mixture generously over the slices of bread, making sure to cover every corner.
Mozzarella cheese: Slice the same amount as I’m using here.
Gouda cheese (or any cheese of your choice): You’ll need 2 thin slices.
Add 5 drops of water to the edge of the pan, this helps the cheese melt perfectly.
Place a slice of bread, buttered side down, into the pan.
Add mozzarella cheese on top.
Add the second cheese layer.
Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
Cover the pan with a lid.
Cook on medium heat until the bottom turns golden or you see the butter bubbling underneath.
Flip the toast and cook the other side for 2–3 minutes on medium heat.
