𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝘄/ 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗲 🐷🥑

Finally got to try this viral combo and it was so yummy!! The cook of the pork is very similar if not, the same with “Bagnet” from the PH 😋 🇲🇽 Mexicans 🤝 🇵🇭 Filipinos

𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦:

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻:
– 2 kgs Pork belly (cut into thick strips)
– Onions, Garlic, Bay leaves, Peppercorns, Salt
– Oil for frying

𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗲:
– 2 Avocados
– 2 Tomatoes (diced)
– 2 Jalapenos (to taste if you want it less spicy)
– 1/2 Red Onion (diced)
– 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped)
– Juice of 1 large lime (or to taste)
– 2 tsp salt

𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
– In a pot, boil pork belly along with onions/garlic/bay leaves/Pepper/Salt for around 40mins. Remove from boiling liquid and let dry overnight in the fridge.
– On low heat, add pork belly into oil and cook for 2-3 hours stirring occasionally until the pork has rendered its fat and the skin has firmed up (should make a hard noise when hitting with a utensil. Let cool completely (you can even place it in the fridge to cool down)
– On extremely high heat (take the oil to its smoking point) place cooled down pork into the smoking hot oil and watch the skin pop.
– To make guacamole, just combine the listed ingredients and mash them to your desired consistency (smooth/chunky) .
– Serve and enjoy!!

  1. Failed the recipe, it sucks. No times, no temps, no measurements, all guesswork. An actual video would work better for something like this.
