Copy Cat Taco Bell Gordita Crunch
Homemade is better than the drive thru! This gordita crunch is melty, crunchy, cheesy perfection all in one bite. š®š§
Ingredients
8 flour tortillas
8 taco shells, warmed
1 lb. ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 onion, diced
1/4 cup beef broth (water also works)
Shredded cheese
Sour cream
Shredded lettuce
Tomatoes
Red onion
Hot sauce
Instructions
In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the ground beef is broken up and no longer pink, approximately 6 – 7 minutes. Drain excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and beef broth. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened.
Meanwhile, sprinkle shredded cheese over one side of each tortilla. Place under the broiler for approximately 30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted. Immediately wrap each tortilla around a taco shell.
Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture.
Top with your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.
