Banh Mi in the Air Fryer | The ultimate SANDWICH

The Perfect Banh Mi, cooked in the air fryer, it is the ultimate sandwich.
Crispy Pork belly, lightly pickled vegetables and a crispy soft warm roll. It really is the ultimate sandwich.

For this Banh Mi you will need.
Red onion
Carrot
Cucumber
A piece of Pork Belly.
Pate
Mayo
Chilli crunch
Coriander
Chilli
A roll

First Cook your pork belly in the air fryer. Nice and hot and gets that skin good and crispy. Cut you slices of red onion, carrot and cucumber and then season with a sprinkle with sugar, salt and the juice of half a lime (or some juice from bottle) Then just give them a taste, you may need to adjust.
When your pork belly is cooked and crispy on top. Cut your roll in half and spread one side with pate and the other with some mixed together mayo and chilli crunch. And put in the air fryer for a few mins to warm up. Cut a few rings of chilli, slice you pork belly and lay it in the warmed roll, add you pickled veg and a few sprigs of coriander, some sliced of your cut chilli and the crispy pork belly skin. Get stuck in and enjoy.

  1. Looks great. I would just add that the influence of the French means their bread is basically a french baguette but slightly shorter and wider. It has to have that soft inside and crunchy crust.

  2. As a Vietnamese, I would say that you've definitely modified the dish to match your taste. We wouldn't add onion to the pickled, the fresh chilly is also normally chilly sauce instead. But anyways, I think your recipe would still taste great!
