  3. As an Italian I can say that it looks really tasty! We do have many recipes in which we add the pasta in the sauce pan anyway! There are similiars dishes here like the boscaiola in which we add tomato sauce and pancetta to it or another one with cream and sausage, apart from eating it with chopsticks there isn't much difference in ways to cook these.   4. Hiro San An observation, Pasta is the Italian term. This is not a monopoly only belonging to Italy.
    Noodles and its derivatives were discovered before if not the same time in the Far East as in Europe.
    It is also true that similar products were used by the Egyptians in the same era.
    The Japanese have specialities such as soba and ramen as you well know as do the Chinese having it's equivalent, not commonly used in European cooking .
