【京都vlog】秋に行きたい最新京都カフェ巡り/行列の焼き菓子店と京町家モーニング/抹茶ドリンク/京都観光/京都グルメ

Thank you for watching. This time, we visited some wonderful shops in Kyoto. We’d be thrilled if you could watch until the end. “Vermillion – station.”
“Kyoto Gojo” The first shop is Vermillion – station. san. Opened in September 2025 as a sister shop to the popular Fushimi Inari cafe “Vermillion – cafe.” The interior is a charming space renovated to preserve the character of a historic Japanese house. The second floor features tatami seating, with views of Higashi Honganji Temple through the windows, evoking the essence of Kyoto. Many tourists visit, drawn to its calming atmosphere that soothes travel fatigue. This time, we ordered the restaurant’s popular plate menu. 【Store Information】

Closed: Fridays “Caffè Latte” Café Latte enjoyed in a Japanese-style space feels more special than usual. “Long Black” Long Black, where you can feel the richness of espresso, is perfect for your morning cup. “Vermilion Plate” This popular plate from the Fushimi Inari shop offers more volume than you’d expect. Roasted potatoes and salad are plentiful too, making it great for getting your veggies. Thick-cut bacon and sausages with a satisfying snap are fantastic on bread. The perfectly poached egg makes for a satisfyingly hearty plate. “Smashed Avocado Open Sandwich with Poached Egg” A healthy menu featuring generous avocado and a poached egg. The ripe avocado is rich and pairs perfectly with the toasty, aromatic bread. Break the poached egg, mix it in, and take a big bite—happiness multiplies. Perfect for breakfast or a light lunch, and recommended for health-conscious diners. They also sell quintessentially Japanese souvenirs, making it a great spot to stop by for travel mementos. Located within walking distance of Kyoto Station, its excellent access is another plus. My heart felt fulfilled in this relaxing space, adding another favorite spot to my list. Now, on to the next shop. “Berry Button”
“Kyoto Kiyomizu Gojo” The second shop is Berry Button, located in Kiyomizu Gojo. This popular baked goods shop draws long lines, and its second location opened in November 2025. The glass-walled space feels open and airy, with stylish brown-toned interior design. The interior has a cute, Korean cafe-like atmosphere, with over 20 seats in total. The wide variety of baked goods is enough to make your heart flutter just looking at them. This time, we ordered mainly from the new store’s limited menu. 【Store Information】

Closed: Wednesdays “Berry Button Cream Latte” A popular cream latte topped with fluffy original cream. You can really taste the slight bitterness of the espresso, and it’s not too sweet—just right. “Nuts Cream Latte” The cafe latte topped with nut cream is comforting, with a toasty aroma and a hint of sweetness. “Pistachio Flan” A sweet treat baked with custard and pistachio paste inside a pastry crust. The rich pistachio pairs perfectly with sweet-tart raspberry jam for a refreshing finish. Enjoy the crispy texture of the outer pastry crust. This dessert is poised to be a major hit. “Hojicha Tigre / Matcha Tigre” A Tigre cake topped with hojicha ganache and matcha ganache, embodying Kyoto-style Japanese elements. The surface is crispy, the inside is moist, and it’s packed with chocolate chips. The aroma of hojicha or matcha fills the air, creating a deliciousness that makes you want to eat several. “Tiramisu Flan” A novel dessert featuring tiramisu atop a baked custard flan. The melt-in-your-mouth tiramisu and smooth flan make a blissful combination. Enjoy the aromatic pie crust and the slight bitterness of coffee in this slightly special dessert. “Salty Caramel Almond Financier” A popular financier topped with caramelized almonds. The lightly sprinkled salt perfectly balances the caramel’s sweetness, making it exceptionally delicious. The satisfying crunch of the almonds adds to the fun, making this a financier you’ll definitely want to buy again. It’s also popular for takeout and is sure to be a hit as a souvenir. It’s so popular that lines form before opening, so arriving with plenty of time is recommended. I was also intrigued by other baked goods like canelés and financiers, so I’d like to visit again. Now, on to the next shop. “SANWA COFFEE WORKS”
“Kyoto, Karasuma Oike” The third shop is SANWA COFFEE WORKS, located in Karasuma Oike. This popular cafe, headquartered in Osaka, opened its third location in Kyoto in November 2025. The interior features subdued lighting, creating a sophisticated, stylish space with a mature atmosphere. The gentle glow of lanterns and the view of greenery outside the windows provide a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. They offer a wide variety of specialty coffees, and the large roaster is stylish and eye-catching. This time, I ordered a dessert menu item that particularly caught my eye. 【Store Information】

Regular Holiday: Tuesdays “Cafe Latte” Drinking a hot cafe latte on a slightly chilly day warms you from the inside out and is truly soothing. 「HANDDRIP COFFEE」 Medium-roast iced coffee has a vibrant, lingering aroma that washes away the fatigue of everyday life. “Banana and Salted Caramel Bread” A popular bread cake generously kneaded with homemade salted caramel and bananas. It’s rebaked, so the surface is crispy while the inside is fluffy and chewy. The aroma of banana and cinnamon gently fills the air, and it’s absolutely delicious when enjoyed with ice cream. “Chocolate Mont Blanc Tart” A gorgeous chocolate tart piped with chocolate chestnut cream and Mont Blanc cream. The tart has a crisp texture, letting you enjoy rich chocolate and Mont Blanc together for a luxurious feeling. Drizzling pear sauce transforms it into a refreshingly light flavor, making this a playful tart. The staff were bright and friendly, chatting with us and lifting our spirits. They also have other food items and coffee cocktails, promising new discoveries with every visit. For anyone seeking delicious coffee to relax with in Kyoto, this is a shop I highly recommend. Now, on to the next shop. “SEIVI ARTISANAL MATCHA and ROASTED”
“Kyoto Gion Shijo” The fourth shop is SEIVI, located in Gion Shijo. It just opened this October, but it’s already a hugely popular spot. It’s delightful to have matcha prepared right in front of you. Since I wanted something cold, I added ice as a topping. The other drink was a Roasted Matcha Latte. After ordering, please head up to the second-floor seating. The drink itself has almost no sweetness, making the rich, toasty flavor of the tea feel luxurious. The balance between the tea’s slight bitterness and the ice cream’s sweetness is just right. The matcha ice cream is rich and distinctly bitter, offering a sophisticated flavor for adults. Strawberry sauce at the bottom adds a delightful change in flavor. Since it’s right in the middle of the tourist area, I bet it’ll get even more popular. When I want to be soothed by delicious matcha, I’d like to visit again. Thank you for watching until the end.
