Let’s smoke up a delicious whole hog. I’m going to be using Fire and Smoke Society’s barbecue butter seasoning, which you can pick up at Walmart. Injecting it with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and apple juice. On the smoker, it goes at 250°. Once the 4hour marks comes along, go ahead and spritz it. And when the skin is nice and golden until your liking, cover it with foil. Uncover it when it reach an internal temperature of 195°. Crank up the smoker to 450 and let it go until the skin is nice and crispy. This came out absolutely fantastic. Go ahead and give it a go.
