【開業初日 宿泊記!】JWマリオットホテル東京 2025年10月2日開業|エグゼクティブラウンジ・プール / JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo Hotel

Hello everyone, this is Ekotabi. I’m at JR Takanawa Gateway Station. You can see the interior of this ticket gate. This is the first time I’ve seen it. Today, I’m staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo, which will open on October 2, 2025! Is this the entrance? It’s surprisingly small. The JW Marriott logo. It’s cool ! Once inside, there’s a lovely space between the elevator and the hotel. I headed straight to the reception on the 30th floor. Oh! Is that the griffin from the JW Marriott logo? Upon checking in, I was given a welcome drink of herbal tea. The Mediterranean restaurant, Sefino, hadn’t opened yet that day. After checking in, I headed straight to the Executive Lounge. It’s curved… This is the welcome drink mocktail at the Executive Lounge. It’s topped with gold leaf. Amazing. Apparently, because this is a place with such a strong connection to railways, it’s based on the traditional herbal cordial of England, the birthplace of railways. Looking toward Shinagawa Konan, I can see Takanawa Gateway Station below. I can also get a good view of the Rainbow Bridge. The standard seating is for two, but the lounge itself is quite long and narrow. They also offer light snacks, which are likely available at any time. Check-in begins at 3 PM, but I was able to check in at noon. Afternoon tea is available in the lounge from 1 PM to 3 PM. The teaware is apparently Noritake. This is the afternoon tea. It’s so luxurious. I actually had afternoon tea at the JW Lounge, which is open to non-guests from 12:30 PM to 2 PM, for 8,500 yen per person, and it was almost identical. The only things they didn’t have were the panna cotta and Mont Blanc. Wow, what an amazing lounge. If you have access to the Executive Lounge, there’s no need to bother with afternoon tea at the JW Lounge. Now, let’s head to our room! Wow… the curtains open automatically… the view is amazing! Our room is the bottom Urban Deluxe with city view. I’m a Platinum member, but I wasn’t upgraded this time. Upgrades aren’t always available. The welcome letter was nice. There was also a welcome gift of chocolate. So luxurious! The air purifier is Cado. What ‘s this? A letter set? There are two double beds. A light switch by the bed. A stylish speaker? A Bible here. A small plant is nice. So cozy. This is the bar counter. These are charged separately. The water is bottled. Free, of course. Expensive- looking teacups and teapot. The electric kettle is a Balmuda. This is the first time I’ve seen them in a hotel. Wine glasses and ice buckets are here. Tea sets and other items are here. The design is simple. Snacks are charged separately. This is the refrigerator. All are charged separately. Next is the bathroom. So luxurious! The mirror is large. Towels are underneath. The faucet has separate hot and cold water. Cute glasses. An amenity box under the sink. Shaving cream in a tube is unusual. The hair dryer is a Dyson. It seems like they use high-end brands for their appliances. The bathroom is relatively spacious. The pattern on the wall is lovely. The shower has both a hand shower and a rain shower. The bathtub is quite deep. The toilet is on the other side of the bathroom. The cleaning tag hanging on the door is made of leather. The building is rectangular. The luggage rack is quite convenient. It’s a little small for a suitcase, I think. The closet has laundry supplies and bathrobes. The bathrobes are amazing. They’re so fluffy. How much do they cost? The pajamas are separate. The slippers have the JW Marriott logo. They’re also fluffy. The room is 43 square meters. The bathroom is spacious, but the bedroom and closet seem relatively small. An explanation of the executive lounge. It’s open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The card key design is also sophisticated. The view from the room. It’s beautiful. I wonder if it’s in the Shibuya or Shinjuku area. Anyway, let’s take a stroll around the hotel. First, the fitness center. There are bananas. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, so is there all-you-can-eat bananas? Are all the machines brand new? The dumbbells and other equipment are really shiny. There’s a spa next to the fitness center. The pool is on the same floor as the fitness center, on the 28th floor. It’s now 5:50 PM. You can see Tokyo Tower. We’re on the 30th floor, where the lobby is located. This is the croissant bar “Le Cres.” The croissants are huge! There’s a staircase in the 30th-floor lobby that leads to the 29th floor. The restaurant is on the 29th floor. What is this? The view is amazing. Of course, it’s meant to be positive. The spiral staircase is a distinctive feature. Apparently, there’s a lodging plan available today that includes sake. I wonder if this is the sake? I was shown around the restaurant, and each seat has a different atmosphere, so I don’t think I’d get bored of it, even if I returned multiple times. The bar counter has a nice atmosphere. There are private rooms in the back. We returned to the executive lounge. Hors d’oeuvres are available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Alcohol is also available from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The food looked delicious, and it was actually delicious. The head chef was on hand throughout the entire stay, communicating with guests. We had sea bream carpaccio, shrimp bagna cauda, and special curry. The braised pork was so tender it was amazing. After dinner, we went back to the pool. It’s now 8 PM. I only looked around earlier, but this time I’m actually going in. Look at this pool. It’s 25 meters long. It looks amazing. After the pool, we had cordial and dessert time in the Executive Lounge. These weren’t lounge-level sweets. It was the most luxurious I’ve ever had. By the way, the manager of the Executive Lounge greeted each table. When I returned to my room, they offered turndown service. There was even water by my pillow. This is pillow mist. There was a bathrobe hanging in the bathroom. What? It’s bath salts. Since I’m here, I’ll try it. The salt particles are quite large. I turned off the lights in the room and enjoyed the night view. This is what Tokyo looks like at night. Well , good night. Good morning. It’s now 6:30 AM. Mount Fuji is faintly visible in the distance. Now, let’s get started on breakfast in the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge was fairly empty, as some guests were having breakfast at the restaurant on the 30th floor. The breakfast buffet was also very luxurious. The head chef explained various things to us throughout the morning. The Western food was good, but the Japanese food was especially delicious. The cheese was melty. There were several types of juice. The tea was the high-end British brand “Jing.” This was the refrigerator. It contained sashimi, natto, small side dishes, and more. There was also pudding. Muesli and yogurt were also available. Egg dishes and grilled fish were available upon request. Free, of course. It was a delicious and eye-catching breakfast. The lounge food was amazing. The sashimi was sea bream and medium-fatty tuna? Almost otoro. The soup was pumpkin soup. There were also plenty of Japanese side dishes. My wife ordered the Egg Royale, which had salmon inside. I had grilled fish. I think it was salmon? It was thick and delicious. You could add dashi to the rice to make it into ochazuke (rice with tea). For dessert, we had pudding, yogurt, and fruit. Damn, I ate too much. Thank you for the meal. Not only the amount of food, but also the service was luxurious and I’m full… One last look at the pool. It’s now 10am. The atmosphere is completely different from the night. I’ve just checked out. It was a very luxurious stay. The staff were also very friendly and the space was comfortable. This is the end of today’s video. Thank you for watching. If you enjoyed it, please subscribe to the channel and rate it highly.
