Chili Cheese Fries IN A Burrito?? – Food Feeder

All right. So, I’ve been doing some thinking and uh I’m getting the feeling that maybe these Taco Bell guys aren’t so interested in bringing us, you know, a balanced, healthful meal. Going out on a limb. Hey guys, I’m Noah Gluten. I remember a while back we were talking about the off menu secret questos that you could get at Freeirds and Chipotle. Well, now uh Taco Bell is going to do that, too. They’re currently testing out this queserrito over in Oklahoma City where they’re basically just taking their regular old beef burrito and then wrapping it inside of a quesadilla. Now, if you want to get a little primo with it, you can upgrade your meat to a chicken or steak for a little extra coin. Since we’re still just testing it, it’s actually pretty cheap. You can get them for either $1.99 up to $2.99 depending on if you uh splurge for that fancy meat. And if it goes well, they’re going to roll it out nationally and it’ll be like those other weird Taco Bell stunt foods like the Doritos Locos Taco thing that you guys love so goddamn much. This past November, Taco Bell was testing out the uh chili cheese fry loaded griller, and it went so well that now they’re available nationally. Uh and again, in case you weren’t paying attention, that’s chili and cheese fries inside of a burrito. All right, so these bad boys are available nationally now. And uh nationally in my mind really just means that they’re available down the street from Tasty Headquarters. So um yeah, tastes like uh hash browns and cheese. I’m guessing that I’m going to find chili like in a giant lump in the middle, not properly spread out amongst everything else. I think it’s time to bring some fire sauce into the equation. I found chili and now the potatoes are gone. Yeah, it just kind of tastes like uh bad chili with goopy cheese and uh crispyish potatoes wrapped in a tortilla that smells like a pancake. I am pleasantly surprised this exceeded my incredibly incredibly low expectations. If you only have a dollar and no self-esteem, then go for it. Don’t No, don’t go for it. Buy an apple. buy like two apples. T bought a whole bunch more of these things, so I got to eat all of them now. Oh, better idea. Let’s uh feed those office folk. So, this looks good. Uh it’s got that good hockey puck texture to it. It’s a little flaccid. Do you like a nice stiff burrito? Oh, yeah. Oh, yes. There’s nacho cheese. You know, it’s like if you opened a can of reffried beans and slathered it in a tortilla. Folks, you could make this at home. I didn’t know Taco Bell did French fries. It’s kind of more of a hash brownie sort of thing. I guess you can squeeze it like a like a toothpaste or like a push pop. Uh-huh. Or like one of those Go-Gurts. Oh, that’s good. It has nacho cheese in it. So, what if anything has nacho cheese in it, I’ll eat it. I just got into it kind of some of the soupy a chili part. That’s kind of gross. You’re getting chili. I’m getting chili. Um, you want another jacket? Mhm. But it doesn’t really taste like anything. So, you never order this? I would never order this. It’s true. No, I wouldn’t order this at Taco Bell. I would stick with the cheesy cordita French. Well, that’s it for today, guys. Uh, this is not very good. People didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. I thought it was better than I expected it to be, but I expected it to be real real dog and ended up just being imitation dog So, we’re kind of improving on it. I would never eat this again under any circumstances except for the fact that I happen to be holding one right now. We’re about to close at the last one and I feel like I’m supposed to eat it for your pleasure. I hope you enjoy it. Well, that’s it for us today, guys. I’m Noah Galutin. Make sure you subscribe to Tasteed and you can find out things like, can Noah eat this whole burrito in two bites? And the answer is uh I guess let’s find out. Last one. I hate my life.

In an ongoing effort to make us all as fat as possible, as fast as possible, Taco Bell has made a few additions to its menu. A+ for effort, Taco Bell!. Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Z7lbS

We’ve previously reported on the off-menu Quesadilla/Burrito mashups you can get at Chipotle and Freebirds. Not to be outdone, Taco bell is making the “quesarito” an ON-Menu option, at least in a limited release in Oklahoma. Alas, that’s a bit outside our road trip travel budget for now. On the other hand, the “Chili Cheese Fries Loaded Griller” has made it PAST the limited release stage, and is now available to anyone who knows how to use a drive-thru. You know what that means…

The Overlords of Tasted.com love feeding you guys what you love, and you love to watch us try foods for you, so that you don’t have to (or so you can decide whether to run out and get some). Thus, we’re feeding the Chili Cheese Fries Loaded Griller to our panel of experts.

Do you think chili cheese fries are what burritos were really missing all this time? If you live in or near Oklahoma City, are you planning to try out Taco Bell’s Quesarito? Do you believe, as we do, that nacho cheese and Fire Sauce make everything better? TELL US EVERYTHING!!

  1. I have to agree with Noah this time, that looks like smushy dog turd wrapped in a flaccid tortilla… I thought the purpose of grilling that kind of thing was to make it crunchy… or are the grill marks spray painted on?

  2. I think Noah secretly likes some of these items he has to try out, being a critic is just what everyone expects of him now days lol. I tried one and it was not very good. They gave me one for free for my wait, they could have kept it…
I don't really eat at taco bell anymore, but when I go, I do like to get the dorito taco, or try that one burrito that has nacho cheese in it, like the one girl said, the nacho cheese makes it taste a lot better haha.

  3. Go to Pepes in Brea, ca and try the California burrito it consist of fries, carne asada, cheese and sour cream with a side of California sauce

  4. Honestly, whenever he goes to try something from Taco Bell, he goes in with the mindset that it's going to be bad, so whether he actually likes it or not, he always says it's bad. It's like a child trying broccoli.

  5. So I've had these several times during the Bell's 'Happy Hour' and I think they're okay, yes it's only vaguely chili and cheese but it's still good.

  6. I don't care what y'all say! Taco Bell has some gooooood food there!

I wish they bring back the Black Taco… That was the best taco I ever had.
