Food Storage Tips : How to Store Guacamole

hi this is Greg de Michael executive chef of the Hudson LA and today I’m going to show you how to properly store guacamole so all you basically need is your guac and some plastic wrap now a lot of people think that adding the pit to the guac makes it not oxidized that’s incorrect it’ll still oxidize basically all you need to do is cover it with no air getting into the guac so I’m going to take a piece of plastic plastic wrap basically what you want to do is you want to push that plastic wrap all the way down on top of that guacamole so there’s zero air inside so it should final product should look like this then go right into the refrigerator I’m Greg de Michel and that’s how you store guacamole

  1. You could also put it in a zip bag, sealed tight and airless. When you want to use it, snip off the bottom corner of the bag (think pastry bag) and squeeze it into a bowl.
