No Flour, No Carbs! Just One Ingredient Toast! Healthy Breakfast That Won’t Spike Blood Sugar!

Let’s start with the guacamole.Take half of a ripe avocado for one toast. I like to cut it into cubes right in the skin, then scoop it into a bowl with a spoon. Squeeze in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (15 ml). Add a pinch of salt. Mash everything with a fork into a smooth paste. Grate about 50 grams of haloumi for one toast. Can you believe this toast is made from just one ingredient? No flour, no gluten, no carbs — and it’s loaded with protein! Preheat your waffle maker and add half of the grated cheese. Once the first layer starts to brown, add the second half on top. This way the toast cooks evenly and gets a nice crispy crust. Making breakfast for the whole family?
A large waffle maker for 4 toasts will save you time! Place the haloumi toast on a plate and spread our creamy guacamole on top. Now let’s make a perfect poached egg. Crack the egg into a small bowl first — it’s easier this way. Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar (15 ml). Create a gentle swirl with a spoon and carefully pour in the egg. Keep swirling the water around the egg. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes. Gently lift the egg with a spoon and let it drain on a paper towel. Place the poached egg on top of the toast. For the chili butter, finely chop about 1 tbsp of chili pepper. Add it to a small saucepan. Add 2 tablespoons of butter (about 30 grams) and a pinch of paprika. Cook over low heat until the butter just begins to boil, stirring gently. Let it simmer for 10–15 seconds, then remove from heat. Avocado – ½ piece (about 70 g)
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp (15 ml)
Salt – a pinch
Egg – 1 large (about 50 g)
Vinegar – 1 tbsp (15 ml)
