【韓国旅】超穴場!夏イカ水刺身を満喫するアラ還大食い夫婦旅/【乙支路3街・汝矣島・上道駅・北倉洞・新道林駅】
Seoul Gourmet A long-awaited summer vacation! A 3-night, 4-day gourmet trip to Seoul, Korea. *Restaurant information is listed in the description. Off we go! Landed at Incheon Airport. Terminal 2 is empty. This time, I ate at Seoul’s hidden gems and famous restaurants. I’m also exploring new places one after another… Please watch my trip! Mmm, delicious! Damn! Is it raining?! Anyway, it’s already 3pm and I’ve arrived at my usual hotel, the Sotetsu Splaisir Hotel ! I kinda like it! Brown . I think I got an upgrade ! Deluxe Twin! The rooftop of the Bank of Korea is awesome! Japanese hotels have bathtubs , so great! I’ll leave my trunk! Off we go! Sandan Station, Shangdo Station, Namdaemun Market, Shangdo Station. Traveling quickly with an unlimited subway and bus card within Seoul city . ← Does it stop there? 10,000 won (1,070 yen) for 3 days . ← Mu-san cuts in line , his card doesn’t work, and the driver says something to him . Kenchana! Buses come one after another, so you can easily find a seat. The Hangang River is truly a huge river ! Let’s get off! When I got off at the Sandosil Naepojangmacha bus stop, the landmark was the squid tank right in front of me ! I found a squid (Ojin) specialty store, soju I’d never seen before, shake shake! I’ve been waiting for this moment, my stomach is already empty, so I’m ready . Is there still beer? I finished it off with a soju beer mix and pompom , and it’s cold! It’s damn delicious, soooo! I thought the appetizer would just be bean sprouts in soup , but it was “meat chunks” and slightly warm ! Ojing Omulhoe 40,000 won (approx. 4,280 yen) – squid sashimi in water, the squid was still moving! Ojing Otongjim 50,000 won (approx. 5,350 yen) – squid sausage -like stuffed with salted miso paste and konbeika (simmered fish) – extremely delicious! I was at a loss as to what to do when someone came to help me (← the kind owner). A large bowl of sashimi soup is a specialty dish, and it’s poured over somen noodles . The bearded owner communicates with gestures more than words. Aigo – an unknown taste… I imagine it’s gochujang flavor. Korea also has a “somen” culture . Refreshing and delicious. The perilla leaves give it a slightly sour taste, like hiyashi-mitsu (cold noodles), perfect for summer. After the refreshing taste , it’s thick and sour, like a spicy “hiya-jiru” (cold soup)! Drink soju here! Konbeika festival! Ojing Ohoe 55,000 won (approx. 5,880 yen) – you can pair up with the owner ! I saw the owner passing by with some squid at the entrance. The golden combination of sesame oil and salt was amazing ! Gochujang topped with raw garlic is spicy! But it’s an addictive taste . Jinro 5,000 won (about 530 yen). I ‘ll add the No. 2 narcotic and get a refill of the congee. Plenty of toppings. There’s still more to eat . They close when the squid in the tank runs out, so it’s pretty much full, so come early! Old men eat squid. It’s delicious ! It’s worth making the effort to come here. Sandosil nepojangmacha 162,000 won (about 17,300 yen). The bus is super convenient once you get used to it. I skip the traffic jams and head straight to Myeongdong! On the outskirts of downtown, across from Lotte, is 153 Guboksu 153 구포국수. Huh? A new store? This is a 24-hour udon chain restaurant. The interior is brand new and sparkling clean. Even in Seoul , it ‘s hot and humid, and I’m sweating after walking around for a bit . Phew! Delicious CASS 5,000 won (about 510 yen). Changchi guksu 10,000 won (about 1,070 yen ). The egg kimbap, which is gentle and goes down smoothly, smells strongly of bonito broth. 6,000 won ( about 640 yen). The shredded egg is plentiful. A hidden gem of an udon restaurant, perfect for one person. The perfect way to finish off a meal. 153 kupokkusu 31,000 won (about 3,300 yen). I ate! I ate ! I’m off to bed now! What should I eat today? But before that! I’m full of energy ! Fighting! Well then! I’m running low on funds, so I need to exchange some! This is worse than last time in May… There are so many police vehicles! Why don’t they stop at the bus stop? They were pushed ahead! Get off at the Euljiro Samga Euljiro 3-ga Station Euljiro 3-ga Namdaemun Market bus stop and turn down the alley… Sancheong Charcoal Garden 산청숯불가든. There’s already a waiting list before it opens . It looks like a suspicious abandoned building… but it ‘s open! I made a reservation, so I’m relieved. It’s already full. It doesn’t look suspicious. The charcoal grill set is complete. Jirisan is a restaurant that serves black pork raised in Jirisan. It’s not a block of meat, but already cut. Samgyeopsal with “minari” (water dropwort) is popular these days, but here, it pairs perfectly with “scallions.” More on the konbae trivia later! Well then! Let’s drink it all at once! “Scallions” have a sweet taste without the spiciness of green onions . You can see them being cut in the open kitchen . Scallions, big! Specialty vegetables: cucumber, kimchi, salads, potato salad. They say it’s about ripe to eat, so try it with salt first! Usually it’s pork belly, but this is “five-piece pork belly.” No! No! No! Eat it in one bite! I’m sure you’ll be criticized, so please enjoy it! Soju (salmon simmered in soda), konbei taisai (salted fish sauce) , a refreshing shellfish-flavored sauce that’s not too spicy , but is addictive, and sweet “scallions” that are not too spicy. The trio of condiments that go perfectly with the black pork is also delicious! ♪ Bong! Bong! Bong! konbei taisai (salted pork belly) 5,500 won (about 580 yen), konbei kalmegisaru ( salted pork belly ) 20,000 won (about 2,100 yen), basically ” skirt steak.” What a Mu-man who doesn’t add enough oil! Recommended side dish: Black bean Korean beef doenjang jjigae 9,000 won (about 960 yen). It’s a miso jjigae, but the Korean beef is chock- full and sweet! Everything is delicious! The super spicy bukkochi is coming out from the bottom , and the kimchi vegetables and black pork are in a relay. Sancheong Charcoal Garden 106,000 won (approx. 11,300 yen) Definitely a repeat visit! Namdaemun Market ※Please be careful of noise due to construction work I came here for tea Unlimited charging is nice Cafe latte 2,500 won (approx. 260 yen) There are stylish cafes, but I prefer local coffee shops Omicha 3,500 won (approx. 370 yen) Namdaemun Market is full of energy Fish market that evokes a Showa era Flounder sashimi shop This is also recommended Just go up these stairs and you’ll be OK We’ll go to Sungnyemun (Namdaemun), right next to the market Mu-o seems to know a lot about 600 years of history ※Jumping at the end! Yes! Touring is over! It smells great when you return to Namdaemun Market again! Suninae Bindaetteok (순희네빈대떡) I walked into this restaurant on a whim and it was a busy place . It felt like a popular diner . Ball-shaped raw makgeolli 4,000 won (about 420 yen) Gombe is easy to drink! Slightly spicy ! Bindaetteok 7,000 won (about 740 yen) translates to “mung bean pancake.” Soaked mung beans are ground and grilled . Delicious! Gombe is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. A perfect match with makgeolli ! Even if I don’t understand what the ajussi (old men) are saying, the background music is there. Bibimmen (7,000 won) I ordered “mixed somen” from the menu and it turned out to be “bibimmen.” The chewy noodles are coated in a red sauce, which really gets your appetite going! The red noodles were brimming with flavor , and the cold noodles were delicious. Mixed with the soy sauce and raw onions, they were irresistibly delicious. It wasn’t as spicy as it looked. Looking around, everyone was eating bibim noodles. Of course it was delicious! I was just planning a quick drink, but it was so delicious I was completely satisfied. Suninebindaetto 18,000 won (about 1,920 yen). Yeouido, Namdaemun Market, Yeouido. It’s already bright before 8pm, and sunset is an hour later than in Japan. I’m going for a night balloon ride now . This is the town full of high-rise apartment buildings. My destination is here. This seems to be the entrance ! I’ll use the balloon as a landmark. I’ll get on this balloon. It’s getting late. Mu-san looks like he’s walking slowly. We’ve evenly spaced everyone out and are ready. Wow! Scary! Still ascending. Once we reach a 30-story building, we’ll have a spectacular panoramic view of the night skyline . It’s beautiful! My body was stiff. The flight time was about 15 minutes, but we landed safely. It’s reassuring to make a reservation through Conest. Moon in Seoul (5,348 yen) *For 2 people Sindorim Shindorim Station Yeouido Shindorim Station Since I came all the way to the Gangnam area, I decided to have dinner nearby. After getting off the bus at Shindorim Station and walking for about 10 minutes, I came across a food street. I searched for it on Google Maps and found this restaurant: Samcheok Raw Whelk Guro Main Branch 삼척생골뱅이 A whelk specialty store. A super popular restaurant in Korea for sashimi and hotpot. Fully booked with reservations. I thought I’d be able to get in easily. “Whelk” Next time I’ll definitely make a reservation. There are so many restaurants around here, but I couldn’t find one that looked adventurous. Ahh! Pandesi! I’ll definitely come! There’s a Mister Gyoza in Kyoto too… So, I walked around Sindorim and took the subway on Line 1 straight back to City Hall. I arrived at City Hall Station , Hanggukguan, Korea.
I was so hungry I headed straight to Bukchang-dong Delicious Food Alley . The newly opened store has opened before I knew it. The budae jjigae here is excellent . I walked around the conglomerate and finally got to try it. Delicious ~ Squid Game Team Team Jjigae 20,000 won (approx. 2,100 yen) *Serves 2 people. Stand by with squid game soju until it’s boiled. Konbe : The soju going down your throat is so good ! Don’t touch it too much! The air conditioning in the restaurant is blasting cold, and the hot pot is soothing! Konbe : Time to eat! The red volcanic bean sprouts and tofu with spam ramyeon (ramen) are absolutely hot ! Dolsoppab 3,000 won (approx. 320 yen) Speed is key with stone pot rice. Pour water into the hot pot to soften it and scrape off the burnt crust. Ramyeon (ramen) with extra noodles . Stone pot rice is excellent. Konbe : Ah, happiness♪ The fragrant burnt porridge is ready. Enjoy both rice and jjigae . Even though I’m in my late twenties and still growing, I just can’t stop! The various broths ooze out and it’s delicious~ Chang : It was the perfect authentic Korean cuisine. Hangukgukwan 31,500 won (Approx. 3,370 yen) If I’m tired after eating that much, I won’t be able to help! I can finally take off my sandals. I walked a lot today!
