Mangiare da Vero LOCAL in CINA!!🇨🇳

How can you tell if a place is good or not if you don’t use Google Maps or Trip Advisor in China? Well, there are tons of chains across the country that could be an excellent choice if you’re looking for cleanliness, a reasonable budget, and above all, good food. In this episode, I’ll introduce you to China’s most famous chains, divided by category. We’ll go to eat and drink at my favorite coffee, latte, fast food, pastry, healthy food, and Chinese and Western cuisine chains. So, if you’re faced with ten restaurants and you’re really hungry, you’ll know which one to choose. Let’s start with the pastry shops, and among the Chinese chains that only sell sweets, there’s Pafu, which makes delicious sweets at very low prices; Veiome, where you’ll find bread, pastries, and cakes at fairly reasonable prices; and How, where you’ll find a wide selection of high-quality sweets and cakes, which is why the prices are higher. The first one we saw was this place called Luc, a very famous sweets chain spread throughout China. Look at the people buying. Tray in hand and we’ll buy some too. Let’s do some shopping. See? All the biscuits fit here. Look at these cream puffs. This one really inspires me. Look how round they are. This one is also very famous in this place and highly recommended. They’re cakes made with mung beans. This one is new and it’s called fried butter dumplings. Let’s get two, they’re even better. Come on, let’s get a box. They’re still warm, eh? We even have tea. See? All kinds of sweets. Come on, let’s also get two of these that inspire me, and they’re egg yolk flavored . And by now you all know I love desserts made with egg yolk. In total we spent 50 to 80 on these desserts, which is about €6.30. Let’s start with the High Paufu Masu raga. The name is incredibly long; I’ve repeated it 50,000 times. Translated into Italian, it means “mochi” (a type of mochi) cream puff. With cheese and sea salt. It’s incredibly soft. An explosion of cream in your mouth. The cream is incredibly dense, a little sweet. There’s a hint of yogurt flavor, and it’s a little salty. Oh, delicious. You squeeze all the cream into your mouth. It’s not the cream puff we all know, with the outside being a little hard and crunchy. Here, the dough is like a mochi because it’s very soft. You’ve got an ice cream cone. If you fill it with ice cream, over time, this cone softens, and the flavor is the same as this one. One leads to another. Mm, that sensation is wonderful: as soon as you bite into it, it explodes in your mouth. Let’s move on to the Juanka, or butter dumplings. They’re still warm, freshly made. These are dumplings made with glutinous rice flour, with a fried outer layer that’s very crunchy and tastes like butter, milk, and a little egg. They would go really well with a cappuccino or coffee. They’re not rubbery, very easy to bite into, and their consistency is very similar to a very thick cream. I just can’t figure out why they’ve been selling so well lately; I mean, maybe I could have understood the cream puff from before. And finally, the rulo, tan qui, is a typical Chinese pastry. You see, it looks like a mooncake on the outside. It’s multilayered and flaky. Let’s see what it’s like on the inside. This one is delicious. On the outside, it looks very dry, but on the inside, it’s nice and moist. It’s made of milk, mixed with this slightly salty egg yolk, and you can’t even taste the outer layer; it’s just to enclose the ingredients inside. But it really melts in your mouth and you can only taste the filling inside, which is sweet, a pleasant dessert. I’d add a pinch of salt, it would be a dream. After dessert, I have a nice little coffee, and there are some very famous chains here in China that make coffee. There’s Lucking Coffee, Manner Coffee, Lamp Stand, Cotty Coffee, etc. etc. Anyway, these are the main ones that you’ll find everywhere in every corner of China, and when I’m in China, I usually get coffee from Lucking Coffee, which varies in price from €1 to €1.30. One thing that I like about Lucking Coffee is that it’s right in front of Starbucks. Guys, we have Starbucks right there. They’ll have coffee that will cost like 4, whereas here it’s €1. The taste is the same, meaning in the end the coffee is either good or it sucks, and here at King Coffee they do it well, meaning it has nothing to lose with Starbucks. Coffee costs 99.90 unen which is about €1.20. I’ll definitely have the iced Americano coffee. This time I wanted to change, I had an iced Americano coffee with orange juice. Very thirst-quenching. Basically, there’s orange juice underneath and Americano on top. If you want to drink the juice, put the straw underneath, and if you want to drink the coffee, put the straw a little higher and do that. Or if you really want to do the fusion, do that. Orange juice is a very innovative flavor, so it’s thirst-quenching and coffee-like at the same time. If you hold your nose and drink, it seems like you’ve drunk a very freshly squeezed orange juice with that hint of bitterness. Or else another Chinese coffee chain is M Stand, which costs more or less the same as Starbucks, but they have much more variety and there are many seats, and the atmosphere, as you can see, is minimal. We didn’t get an Americano, they also have a regular Americano that costs 28 yen, but we got this one, which is an Americano with cherry soda and ice cream, and it cost 38, which is about €4.80. Very refreshing, sweet, and tastes like cherry and mulberry . It has a coffee aftertaste. Innovation, guys, innovation. And here you can sit as long as you like, like Starbucks. We can stay until closing time. And finally, there’s Manner Coffee, a middle ground between Lucking Coffee and M Stand, even in terms of price, because this one, look, an Americano, I only paid 15 yen, which is about €1.90. And this is a very well-made coffee. Manner usually has seats, but not a lot of them, and they’re not comfortable. And what struck me is that they also have espresso. There’s an espresso that costs only 10 gen, which is €1.20. Then there are restaurant chains that serve Chinese cuisine, and Chinese cuisine is immense, so each chain serves cuisine from every region. Like Nancinitan, which serves typical Nanjing cuisine. They have Chang Nan, which is from the Shanghai Chang area, and Changu Yusu, which serves fish with marinated vegetables typical of Chong Chin, Shipe Yun, which is from northwest China. And now I’ll take you to eat at one of my favorites that serves Chinese cuisine, and look here, we already see tons of pandas. Pandas come from the chain, it’s called something, and here they only serve Chinese cuisine, so they serve very spicy, spicy malà, but also things that aren’t too spicy. So, this is the menu, look, they’ve even won tons of awards. What did the war do with this menu? They’ve torn it all up. Maybe some customers asked to eat this and they said, “I don’t have it anymore.” And then he got pissed off and tore out all the pages. Here, as you can see, the menu is in both Chinese and English, so you’ll have no problem understanding. And since Suan cuisine is very spicy, they even indicate the level of spiciness here. See, here they have one chili pepper and one Deluan pepper. The blood is already pretty extreme, plus it has three hot chili peppers and two Deluan peppers. And this is one of the most famous Deluan dishes, the compo chicken. Come on, I’ll order something now and we’ll eat together. I’ve noticed that this chain always chooses beautiful locations, always chooses places with a beautiful view. In every restaurant in China, they always give free water, which isn’t natural mineral water from some source. It’s definitely filtered water, which is most often boiling hot. If you want bottled natural mineral water, they’ll give you that, but you have to pay for that. And this restaurant, instead of clean water, gives you dirty water. No, I’m kidding. Now let’s see what it is. It’s herbal tea. Why herbal tea? Because Sean’s cuisine is spicy, and since the spicy is, and the herbs are ye, it serves the usual balance I was telling you about. And then, browsing the menu, I saw here that it says the bamboo they serve in the dishes at this restaurant is the same bamboo that the panda eats. So if you eat here, you also become a panda. Yes, yes. And for all this, we spent 165, which is about €20, and for a chain that has the Higher-than-average prices are quite reasonable. I mean, look at the portions, they’re super-mega-gigantic. We can feed three or four people here. So, we chose these two dishes to pair with rice, which are the two most classic, best-known dishes in the world of Schuan cuisine: mapo tofu and compau cheating. Let’s try this compating. And it’s the dish that made this chain one of my favorites. Enjoy your meal. And the compagin is a chicken-based dish with chili peppers, spring onions, garlic slices, and peanuts. These are the ingredients an authentic compacchi cheing must have. And around the world, even throughout China, we can find a version with carrots and cucumber. That’s a fake version. The flavor must be a little spicy, a little malà, and sweet. And it goes with rice, right? See? The peanut is a little longer than the peanut we all know, which is smaller and rounder. This one is more elongated. Mm, very crunchy, fragrant, and I think it was sautéed before being mixed in with this chicken, as well as the chili pepper. See? The chili pepper seems nice and crispy, it exudes that absence of chili pepper that is a little salty, but it’s not crunchy, it’s soft. It’s incredible how good every component of this dish is. Let’s look at the spring onion. It’s sweet, succulent, and springy, and it’s incredibly delicious, and they say that if a restaurant manages to do a good compacitation, it means all the other dishes on the menu are just as good. Let’s move on to the mapo tofu , and usually mapo tofu is made only with tofu. This one, however, is a beef version. Look at how greasy it is. What a treat! Oh! Take a big spoonful of maputofu and slap it on top of the rice. And in this case, you can’t use chopsticks because the tofu is very, very soft and would break immediately, meaning you can’t even pick it up, so you use a spoon. Well, yes, even in China they use a spoon. It’s incredibly fragrant, very creamy. And then there’s this very aromatic oil that I sauté with the meat and chili pepper. There are these little pieces of meat that are crunchy, so it makes this dish even tastier. Mmm, I mean, tofu usually has flavor, right? But cooked this way, it’s very, very flavorful. Let’s move on to this other dish called cheese liamien, which means pulled chicken with cold noodles. I’m guessing it’s chicken breast. Look how dry it is. There’s also some cucumber cut into Julienne slices. There’s also a little spring onion, and underneath we also find some bean sprouts that, oh, have been decapitated. And here, before eating it, we have to pour this oil with some sesame. Look at this ritual. And we mix it all together. It seemed too clean before, but now you can see the color it’s given it. Much more appetizing, right? So every time I put on a light-colored shirt I have to eat something that might get dirty. Mmm. The noodles are slightly al dente, then there’s this sauce that’s sweet and a little sour, slightly spicy, so you don’t even notice it. And on top of that, there’s the crunchiness of the bean sprouts and the cucumbers, and then there’s the softness of this uneven chicken meat that has absorbed all the flavor of the sauce. You see, the chicken has gone from dry and flavorless to pale white, to overly flavorful chicken. No, you thought so. This couldn’t have been avoided. And finally, we move on to the desserts. Oh, everything panda-themed. How cute! Meanwhile, we eat this mouse, which usually comes in the normal form, that is, not in the shape of a panda, but here, since they make chan cuisine, they serve it this way because, as you well know, the panda comes from Dalan and Suanese. This panda is missing an ear, while this one is missing a nose, the most complete one is this one, so let’s start with it. Sorry, Panda. Oh, now it’s become a real toast. Toast is basically a steamed bread with zucchini red bean jam inside and it’s sweet and tastes like zucchini red beans. Let’s move on to this other Panda-themed dessert, this one is called Pinkf and it’s a dessert. Made of sago, tanyan, which are little balls made with glutinous rice flour, these other little bubbles with azuki bean jam inside , and underneath the green thing is pandan pudding and there’s a pandan head. It’s a very simple marshmallow. It’s super slippery. Look, I can’t take this pudding. I went and found a little ball. There are sago balls that look a lot like tapioca pearls, only in a smaller version and it’s transparent. And there’s this pandan pudding that tastes a lot like pandan. It’s a little bitter, a very refreshing dessert, slightly sweet, a mix between slippery and chewy. Now I’m taking you to Shi Puma here, a chain that serves Western Chinese cuisine, so Muslim cuisine, and one of their signature dishes is amien, which are noodles in beef broth. Enjoy your meal. Wow, guys, it’s amazing. Freshly made spaghetti, freshly pulled, that is, prepared on the spot, incredible. We even get spicy sauce here. The spaghetti is beautifully elastic, very long, and doesn’t break. And this is a good thing for lamien. The broth is amazing, it tastes like beef, it has that certain milky quality. Now let’s go eat at Mitsum Pan Fan. This is a very famous chain throughout China where they serve Korean minority cuisine. And there’s also a buffet of kimchi and plain rice where you can have as much as you want, and also soup. We ordered these two dishes and spent a total of 56.80, which is about €7. We ordered a bim pup, and first of all, the bimbi pupca mix for the arganori, there’s the sunny side up, a little meat, a little carrot, a little spinach, a little corn, and some mushrooms. This is the gocciugan, which is the typical sauce for this dish, which is spicy and sweet. Let’s see what this free kimchi is like. Mmm, it tastes very homemade. It would fit quite a bit inside the smile, so dig in from underneath and press. See? The color has already turned a little red. He’s getting embarrassed. And now that this bib p has become a bit shy. Enjoy your meal. It’s an explosion of creamy, spicy, sweet flavor. Then there’s the sourness of the Kimsy, the super tender meat, and the arganori that gives that extra aroma to this rice. And finally we have this dish called Sanci, which is a typical Taiwanese dish , not from the Korean ethnic minority. Oh, let’s not confuse things. I don’t know why they put it on the menu here. It’s chicken meat with bones sautéed with garlic. Delicious. The meat is so strange, it falls off the bone immediately. The soy sauce flavor is present , and they must have added sugar because it’s sweet. You can see there’s a lot of garlic on top. The garlic no longer tastes like garlic, but rather like a piece of potato that has absorbed all the flavor of the chicken and the sweet soy sauce. This is perfect with white rice. I was right to order the white rice. Another very famous chain that you can find both in Beijing and throughout China is Chen Juto, one of the most famous restaurants that make Peking duck and is even in the Michelin guide. As you can see, my uncle is slicing us roasted, and this is a peculiarity of this China, where they slice it live right in front of you. Can you see how dexterously he’s slicing this duck? I mean, as if he knows this duck like the back of his hand. We try the duck skin, and this is eaten dipped in sugar. Very, very crunchy. Very fragrant, really, very oily. When you bite into it, it’s like you’ve squeezed out a sponge full of duck oil. That’s why you have to combine it with sugar to tone down the taste of the oil. This is duck soup made with the bones left over from our half duck. Wow! This soup is truly special, it’s very light, it smells very much of duck, it has a really creamy flavor and it gives us a little milky taste. Then we also had duck fuagra here. [Music] No, it’s truly amazing. It’s so soft and melts in your mouth. A solid spread. If you spread this on bread, it becomes amazing. And here’s the Picchinese duck, which in Chinese is called Beijing Hoya and is a roast duck glazed with honey. It’s so incredible that they even gave us a souvenir postcard to say that this duck is the 210 millionth duck they’ve cooked in this laar. And how do you eat Picchinese duck? It’s eaten wrapped inside a really thin pin. First we place the pin in our hand, then we take a piece of duck, dip it in the tiang ( sweet bean sauce), put it on the ping, then we also add some spring onion, cucumber, and if we want, we can also add a little minced garlic. Then we close it like this. Here’s our ready-made ravioli. And you can eat this in one bite. Delicious. An explosion of flavor, the elasticity of the PIN, the crunchiness that comes from both the duck skin and the cucumber and the spring onion. Here are our desserts. It looks small but inside it’s quite full. Look how ugly this one is. So we’re eating it. It’s slightly sweet and tastes like jujube and brown sugar. I don’t know if you already knew, but I don’t like jujube. Let’s see. This one here is the prettiest. Okay. It’s the same flavor. Look, these here are always together, they don’t separate. Now I’ll separate them. Mmm, this one here is pineapple. Pineapple jam. Better than reaching for jujube. [Music] Oh, we just did the bill and in total we paid 213 for all that stuff, which is about €26.60. And if you want a typical traditional Chinese breakfast, you can go to KFC, McDonald’s, you can easily find that, but if you want a Chinese chain, you can come here to Jung Tawan. Let’s go. But let’s go, where did you wake up? At 12:00, and breakfast starts from 6:00 to 10:00. And here, besides offering a very cheap breakfast, which we won’t have because it’s too late, it offers various typical Chinese fast food-style dishes, like Chun Kong Fu or La Sanian, where they make chicken-based dishes and soups. Then there’s Yenchi Yun Ciao, if you’re craving chia, aka Chinese dumplings; Ashan Michen, specializing in rice noodles in broth; Yangan Kuofu, known for malatan; quafu cha for fried skewers; and Cangun for oneon. And for fast food chains, like American burgers, I can recommend Dicos Walesh, and in English, Wallas. Guys, we found a menu for 9 UN90. A menu, guys. Here ‘s a drink. We have a burger, three pieces of nuggets, and ketchup is included. Let’s see what drink we got. A slightly flat Coke. The nuggets are softer than the ones you find at McDonald’s. The crispy outside, freshly fried, is a plus. A menu for only €1.20 with a drink included, three pieces of nuggets. It’s a beautiful burger with spicy fried chicken inside. There’s a piece of lettuce and mayo. The bun is a little sweet, the fried chicken is nice and crispy, spicy. It’s definitely not made with bread, the luxury meat, but it’s good. And for that price, what more could you want? Ah! And today I’m taking you to a tasting meal, aka Tasty. Oh no, sorry, it’s not Tasty, it’s Tastiting. I can’t wait to eat their burger, which isn’t exactly a 100% American burger. They even have a hint of Chinese in it. I’ll show you later. We’ve walked in and you can already smell the McDonald’s of long ago. I don’t know if you remember the smell of going into McDonald’s in Italy, too, a while back, because I don’t know what happened now, but the smell is different. Look how cute this place is, it’s really Chinese. Burgers made in China. So, here to order, always use the QR code, or else there’s another new method that’s like this: you place your phone here and it takes you straight to the menu. This is the menu, see? There’s nuggets, burgers, with fried chicken, with beef, with sausage, there are even buckets. There’s a ton of stuff. They even have a duck sandwich, the picchinese. This is a set that costs really little. 1780. Oh, €2.20. And here to drink, we have Pepsi, Pepsi Zero, Seven chicken neck, and some Nuggets. Let’s get, uh, some Nuggets, come on, because maybe I’m a new user and they gave me a huge discount on another set that includes a fried chicken sandwich and a Coke, and it only costs €6.90, not even €1. And we can eat. I mean, a total of €2,470, which is €3 for two menus. Let’s throw everything away, I can’t wait. Look at that beautiful color. Beautiful red, made in China. Here they are, our two nugget sandwiches and a drink. Let’s see what this Pepsi is like. And what about her? Well, guys, what are we waiting for? Let’s eat. Let’s start with the nuggets. Oh, really, really Nugget nuggets. Enjoy your meal. They’re identical, absolutely crunchy, I mean, they’re super crunchy on the outside, and the meat is super tender on the inside. They even added some ketchup. Look at the packet, it’s always their style, it looks like the head of a lion dance. Oh, this is ketchup, right? It’s not a gimmick. Let’s move on to the burger with the fried chicken leg. Inside, we find the lettuce and the salad dressing. Here they call it sala, which is a kind of mayonnaise but a little sweeter. And the bread, as you can see, is not the classic bread you find in American fast food restaurants, but a Chinese-style bread that’s very thin, soft, and has black sesame seeds on top. It’s truly delicious. The fried chicken breast is the same as the one at McDonald’s. Here, there’s the sweet mayonnaise that gives it that creaminess, that sweetness, this bun, the spiciness is really pleasant, and this bread changes it up—I mean, it’s incredible, light, flavorful, and soft. And finally, let’s move on to this burger with the Peking duck. I think you can only find this in Beijing. Let’s see what it’s like. But let’s just say I expected better. I was expecting the flavor of Peking duck, but it’s nothing like it. I mean, yeah, okay, the duck is nice and tender, soft, ducky, with onion and cucumber, except there’s this sauce that’s not as sweet as the real thing; it’s salty and doesn’t taste like Peking duck at all. It’s a nice idea, but it’s not done well. For those who care more about their weight and health, I recommend Vagas, a chain that serves healthy Western cuisine. The price is a little above average, but it’s popular with gym-goers, so the protein food is very healthy. Since I care about my weight, I’ve never been there, so this is my first time with you, so let’s see what they eat here. And I’ve noticed that lately in China, the waiters don’t do anything. Now you can order directly from the menu, from the QR code on the table, and so the waiters don’t do anything; they just move as soon as you order something. This is very convenient, huh. There’s no longer this contact like, “Oh, roommate, where are you? Where are you, give me this menu.” Right from the start, they recommend this Italian dish, handmade Italian burrata. Oh! And here the menu is very, very extensive. There are many types of sandwiches, there’s even Italian pasta, see? Then there are the noodles, but from the color you can see that it’s here, all healthy and here it’s all eggs, vegetables, chicken, so even the juices are very healthy, very clean. And I opt for the burrata that you recommended before, which costs .99 for a set, in fact it starts at .99. These ones here actually cost a little more. I’ll have this one, come on, with Spanish ham. This one is a juice. Beautiful. Look at that beautiful color. 107 in total, which is €13.40. It’s a lot. Oh, yes, but you can’t help it. It’s healthy cuisine, and quality healthy cuisine should cost a little more. And this juice is made of kale, coconut milk, and red dragon fruit. It’s exactly like the photo on the menu. It’s very strange. There’s green tea in it, so there are four ingredients. Oh, a juice with tea. The first time I’ve ever drunk it. It’s strange, but you already feel cleansed of everything. I mean, you can tell it’s very healthy because it’s also tasteless, like, bland, it tastes like nothing. You can smell the dragon fruit seeds. You can taste the green tea, but it’s not sweet at all. It’s clear we’re all addicted to sugar, so if something isn’t sweet, we call it bad. Let’s see if mixing it makes any difference. Nothing’s changed. The taste, the smell, it’s like drinking freshly squeezed juice from a garden. I think they made the juice from this. Here’s the long-awaited dish with burrata in the center. Tell me what you think of this dish. It’s worth €13.40 with this. So, this dish is made with whole-grain bread, then inside we find tomato, cucumber, then there’s Spanish ham called hamon, then there’s black sesame and white sesame, and a burrata in the center. Then they also put these little leaves that, well, I don’t know what they are. It’s fennel fronds, I think. Well, first of all, let’s break up the burrata. Enjoy your meal. Mm, very creamy, buttery, milky, which gives a touch more creaminess to this Spanish ham dish. [Music] Mmm, I mean, with that sweet aftertaste. And then they also sprinkled a little paprika on top, which contrasts with the saltiness of the ham and the sweetness of this fruit sauce. And digging, digging, we even found avocado and red pepper. So, oh, there’s everything, the whole world is healthy here in this dish. Aside from the cost, I’d eat here every day because you know you’re eating healthy and delicious food, except oh, it’s very easy to replicate. Then in Italy, these ingredients are found everywhere, apart from the sauce, which you have to learn how to make, the burrata, the prosciutto, the cucumber, the cherry tomatoes, even the whole-grain bread. These are all ingredients that are easy to find in Italy, maybe less so in China. I mean, they’re found in China, but it costs more because they’re imported from abroad. And if you see Baker and Spice around, know that they’re from the same group as Vagas and for breakfast they make amazing savory croissants. And speaking of Chinese cuisine, if you want to eat hot pot, I recommend Shabu Sabu, which is a fairly inexpensive chain for good hot pot, and Hidòw, which I’ll bring you now. But wait, I’ll get a nice Mic tea first, to tone down the spiciness that will be there later, and we’ll get this Mic tea from Chaji, which is a very famous chain that has become very popular lately, it’s become an international chain. I’ve also found it in Thailand or in Malaysia, and here it’s famous because they use a good tea to make this milk tea. To order, as usual, you have to scan the QR code there or even by voice if you want, if you don’t know how. And here they have all kinds of teas and milk teas. So we’ll get this one. Leave this one as is. If you don’t know what to choose, leave it as is, everything is recommended, i.e. normal cold and normal sweet. Here it’s normal cold, i.e. normal ice, and the further you go down, see? Little ice, no ice, and hot, i.e. the further you go down, the less there is. We choose chish pin, which means removing the ice, so it’s just cold, lukewarm. And here we leave the dessert as is. It’s set. We’ve ordered, we’re waiting. And if you notice here on the menu, the calorie count is also listed, so if you want to stay fit, you can have this one, right? Here it is, ready. Here he gave us a straw and a spoon to eat the cream first. Come on, let’s eat this dessert before the hot pot. Mmm. And this one here we paid 22 unen, which is about €2.80. And this one we ordered is called Tao, which is teu longo peach with milk and then at the end a little cream and some flakes of dried fruit that is really delicious, eh, from that crunchy salty contrast with the cream, like the amaretto you put on the cream in ice cream, and here on the glass we also find the calories. This glass has 321 kcal. And caffeine or theine 63.5 mg. The calories in this glass are enough for me for a day. Let’s go eat the OT. Well, besides Pan Wan Chachi, there are other famous chains that make Na Cha, like Mish and Ping Chong which sells very cheap ice cream drinks, especially loved by students, Coco which makes fairly cheap na cha, as well as Chapa Pait and Chaon. Then we can find Ned ce L c cha which are already a little more expensive and finally shi cha c cha or He hat which is basically for the rich and showy. Then there is K22, which has nothing to do with tea and milk, but I highly recommend it because they make a kind of wonderful mixed yogurt granita, and you can choose from strawberry, avocado, mango, and guava flavors. Here we are at Hightw, and look here. If you have to wait in line, you can get a manicure or manicure, including hand care, and you can do it even after your meal, so I’ll book a hand treatment afterwards. Thank you. Yes, yes. Ah! Ah! But I just came in. Ah, in the meantime, there are some hot, wet towels. Guys, the service is impeccable. As soon as you walk in, they serve you 80,000. You need water, you need fruit, I’ll serve it to you, and then I’ll tell you all the services available . Like, it’s all self-service there, and I also booked a hand treatment, so we don’t do manicures anymore because the last time I got my nails painted, so many of you insulted me, so this time we’re just doing a hand treatment, and here’s this service, which is free. First, we have to choose the soup that will be in the pot, which can range from one soup to two soups to four different soups. There’s spicy, very spicy, tomato malà, Japanese flavor, and so on. Then we choose the meat, vegetables, we find duck blood, tripe, and so on. A lot of things, depending on your tastes. And this is the service corner. There’s fruit, watermelon, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and what’s this? Okay, other vegetables. There’s even Japanese seaweed, mushrooms. These are all the cold dishes as appetizers, and underneath we find all the sauces, condiments, and various spices. And the most important thing, what is it? It’s English, look. So it’s fantastic. Come and you can understand everything. Here too, if you don’t know how to make your own condiment, you can see here. See? Here he teaches you. We’ll take some watermelon and two lemons. We’ll put them on the table we have—the table over there is very close. When I eat loot spot, I usually use two sauces, two different condiments. The northern condiment is made of sesame sauce, a little spring onion, and a little garlic. Here it is. This is the northern sauce. It’s only three ingredients. And now I’ll show you the authentic Chucchin sauce. So, let’s add a little sesame oil, not just a little, a lot of oil. Lots of oil. Oyster sauce, just a little, that’s enough because it’s very salty. And a pinch of minced garlic. A pinch, come on. A little more, come on. All right. And this is the typical sauce for Chong Sin hot pot. And if you order tomato soup, you can also make your own soup, a soup to accompany the meal, made with ground beef and spring onion, some cilantro if you like, and then you add the tomato soup and it turns out something like this. Look how beautiful. Oh, delicious. The noodles are really good here. And first of all, you have to add the meat—beef—to the hot pot. And while you wait, we eat the cucumber. It tastes like cucumber. Here, if the broth dries out, they’ll see and add more. And the little sassini we got beforehand, we have to mix everything together to make it uniform. Then, when you see that the meat is cooked, almost a minute, you add it to the sauce and it cools down immediately, eh, because the sauce is a little cold and you can eat it right away. Enjoy your meal. Mmm, it’s very spicy. And the sauce is quite a bit. And then you can add whatever you want. Now surimi, tofu skin, these other very crunchy vegetables that in Chinese are called kungs, they even put on shows. Here it is, here it is. And the show he’s doing now is called PLen, which means change of face, a traditional show of the Chinese Suan opera, because this commercial here is the chain that originates from Suan. Oh! It’s here, I tell you. Look at this stuff! [Applause] Wow! See? Oh, change face! Guys, guys! Ready? Oh my God. Oh, [Applause] Come on, ball, come on, ball. Little heart, see? This is called Pienlen. Heh, heh. Oh, yes, yes. Guys, he gave us a drop there with his mask. Anyway, I had the parananza here, eh. Luckily I noticed, otherwise I would have continued eating with the light-colored shirt, and I usually get all sloppy with the light-colored shirt. Tofu skin. But these two sauces are totally different from each other. There’s this one here that’s typical of Chonchin, which is much more oily but also very fragrant and has a cleaner flavor, and if you want, you can also add spring onion, coriander, everything according to your taste. This vegetable is called conai. Mmm, it’s hearty and has a nice bite. Raw, it would be this vegetable here, but I’m not sure what it is. Sorry, it’s called conzè and it looks delicious in the commercial, and they’re like vegetables, and the service here is truly impeccable. I mean, I feel intimidated because I have, like, a waiter there and a waiter there who are staring at me, and then when they see you’re having trouble—no, maybe you’re just standing there, no problem— one of the many camels comes over and says, “Oh, you need something to drink, something to eat, he’ll bring you the sauce, you have to add the soup.” And on top of that, which is also a peculiarity that sets this chain apart from the others, they also put on shows, as you may have seen before, or if you come to China and it’s your birthday, you can tell them directly and they’ll show you, like, three or four of them, with the speaker turned up and sing you the birthday song. Guys, we’ll do it. I’ll tell you it’s my birthday and I’ll show you the show. No, come on, I’m embarrassed. Afterward, if it happens that someone’s having their birthday, I’ll show you. Every time I come to eat at Htilyo, I see it every time. And the commercial also includes Suimi, as you’ve seen. I’m putting everything in this mala broth because I like mala. You thought it was a decorative plant on the table, but no, we have to take this down too, okay? These are pea shoots. Yeah, but the scissors don’t work well here. I mean, oh! You can’t get any closer to that. They’re putting on a little show for someone whose birthday is today. If it’s your birthday, remember to come to Highty Low because they’ll sing you a song. Obviously, the birthday boy or girl is embarrassed. And this milk tea has always been on the table. They didn’t make a fuss because in China you can do that, you’re free, you can get a drink at the Conven Store and take it to any bar and they won’t tell you anything. Unlike in Japan and South Korea, I remember you can’t bring anything. Pea shoots. The consistency is similar to soy sprouts, except it tastes like peas, and that’s not all, eh? Later I’ll show you a show entirely dedicated to us. And anyway, this chain is open until late at night, actually it’s open until morning, basically it opens at 10:00 in the morning and closes at 7:00 in the morning. In the end, it’s as if it were open 24 hours, so if you’ve been out all night and are really hungry around 4 or 5 in the morning, you can look for this chain that’s open and there will be these waiters who will welcome you with open arms. We’ve run out of soup and we’re going to recreate it ourselves. We took some beef mince and some celery and now we’re adding the tomato broth. So, as you’ve seen, the hot, powerful, spicy, there are different types of soups. So if you don’t like spicy food, just don’t order this soup here called Mala soup. Siamiell. Here, our little show has begun. Uh, be careful there, eh. Just don’t touch those noodles on the floor. [Music] Uh, great! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh, ah! Yes, yes. Oh, we have to wait about 2 minutes , he said. And it cooks. Have you seen this stuff? I mean, they show it all off for us. So if you want to impress your friend when you come to China, you can bring it to Loge. It’s a whole grouping of services that other chains don’t have, which gives it that extra touch, that extra personality. And as you may have noticed, we chose a pot with four chambers, two empty and two flavors of your choice, which costs less than two chambers. And here are our noodles with broth, ready. Totti to perfection. The texture is a little chewy, it’s very full, very compact, extraordinary. And finally we eat the watermelon. This all-you-can-eat watermelon. Oh! Okay, guys, he gave us some little gifts. No, okay, it’s a chili pepper shaped like a hand or a hand shaped like a chili pepper. It’s paper, scissors, rock. I can’t believe it. Here, let’s do paper, scissors, rock. What is that? I think it’s my turn. Now let’s get to work. We paid for everything, we’re leaving and there’s the room, he said, “Bring a snack with you.” Then I’ll tell you the price because it’s not very low. Oh, yes, yes, yours. Oh, yours. Yes, yes. Ah, yes, yes. Hey, they gave us two bags full of snacks and in total we spent 215, which is about €26.80. Our time has come. I don’t understand what he put me through, but look, he’s giving me a hand massage. Anyway, if you want to get your nails done, they do it really well here. Look at the variety here. Earlier, I saw some girls who got manicures here, and they did great for free. Then [Music] Let’s take our hands off first. [Music] How nice, relaxing, he’s massaging my hands. Oh, yeah. Yes, yes. At first, I thought I was cutting off all the stray hairs, but instead he gave me a treatment with all the creams, salts, and massages on my hands, and at the end, he put on a plastic glove, told me to wait 10 minutes and wash them. It’s a treatment to make your hands softer, more beautiful, smoother, sexier. Look how greasy my hands are. Oh, and you can easily find all these chains in a shopping mall. You can go to the nearest shopping mall in your hotel and you’ll find them. The food is authentic, you eat well, and the price is right. Alright guys, today’s episode is over too . Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. Don’t forget to like and follow if you haven’t already, so you can stay updated on our upcoming adventures around the world. In fact, guys, we’re at the airport and leaving again, so I’ll see you in the next one. Oh well,

  14. 25:54…. In realtà è una cosa gravissima e sbagliata secondo me….
