Shrimp Alfredo pasta live with chef Carlton

all right let’s give you guys a sneak peek i’m starting off with the sauce all right the pasta on the back already cooked and over here i got all the veggies i’m going to be using this is everything i’m going to be working with today all right just it’s just me recording guys so bear with me so i got the veggies there the pot right there or the sauce i got the pasta in the back all right so i’m gonna leave it probably there so you guys could see everything right right there all right so let’s all right the sauce is alfredo sauce literally heavy cream water parmesan cheese salt pepper and then nutmeg all right so we’re about to get started and i always make my pasta when i start my pasta i started with butter nut oil other people use olive oil or canola oil i use butter especially if it’s alfredo because the butter complements the alfredo all right let’s start off adding some butter i’m just gonna let that melt and as i said i like to use all fresh ingredients so i’ve got some broccoli just splash some red onions and i’ve got a mixture of red peppers tomatoes i’m pretty into making green pepper and i got the shrimp so i’m gonna start i always start by adding the strums while the shrimp cooks you can see all of them using let’s take a closer look in on the shrimp you want to make sure that these are cooked you don’t want them to burn before they start cooking so all right wherever you want them all right after your shrimp is cooked you can pull these off set them aside transfer them to a container and transfer them to a container right now so now that your shrimps are cooked set them to the side so you got your cooked shrimp right there everything else is ready to go so we’re going to wait until this get hot again and what we’re going to do is now we’re going to start making our pasta all right stop your butter the first i’m gonna cook is the onions and the garlic to get that nice flavor from them [Music] we have a sweet all flavor now we’re going to go ahead and add tomato pepper mix you can smell all that flavor remember now everything else is already cooked so we just got to get the veggies to get a nice texture all right and after added shrimp like add in some black pepper salt all right some red pepper flakes i like my food spicy and of course you guys could always eliminate the pepper if you guys don’t like it spicy but all right now everything is ready go ahead and add your sauce i always leave a little bit back just for the end but i like when my other further screaming all right you put out the pasta and i’m using bow tie pasta for this one guys after you add your pasta again salt and pepper to season that pasta i’m just going to let this cook for like a minute before i add the extra butter all right let’s give it a quick toss beautiful pasta guys i’m gonna give you guys a close-up look beautiful pasta all right let it reduce a little bit more and i’m going to go ahead and give it a quick try why not there it is beautiful all all right last but not least we’re gonna go ahead and add some parmesan to that bad boy all right so now i’m gonna get this out of here and we’re going to go ahead and play them all right fire off tension on the plate and the best thing about platinum pasta guys it’s no specific order just get the pasta on the plate basically you want to start in the center of the plato and work your way to the sides make sure you’re putting everything in the center but it does fall in place by itself beautiful pasta all right thank you guys for watching and that’s it guys please subscribe like and share my recipes let me grow this cooking channel guys really appreciate it see you guys another time all right so thank you guys for joining me in this one guys beautiful dish i’m gonna go ahead and enjoy this pasta until i decide to go again see you guys and stay safe guys

Alfredo sauce (butter, cream, and parmesan), shouldn’t be complicated to make, but I find that achieving the right sauce thickness is what really matters. You don’t want it too thick… or too thin.

Shrimp preparation tips

If the shrimp are frozen, place them in a colander and thaw them under cool running water.
Peel them (if they’re not already peeled). You can either take the tails off or leave them on depending on your preference.
