Pat’s daily life. Breakfast. I’m making scones using Cafe Latory’s Matcha Latte. Matcha scones. 100g plain flour. 4g baking powder. Place in a plastic bag. This is a recipe from Marie’s Prepared Meals Restaurant 😌🍳. A pinch of salt. 2 bottles of Cafe Latory Matcha Latte. Shake to mix. 3 tablespoons milk. 1 tablespoon salad oil. Knead until homogenous. It’s starting to look like dough 😌✨. Shape into a circle and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Matcha scones. After 10 minutes. Cut the dough into 6 equal pieces. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, leaving space between each piece. Toast in the toaster oven at 200°C for 15 minutes 💭. Cover with aluminum foil to prevent burning and bake. Matcha scones. After 15 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for about 1 minute until golden brown. They turned out great☺️✨. I had herbal tea🌿. #HerbalTea #MatchaSconesI woke up early, so I made some for the first time in a while☺️🧁. They were crispy, fluffy, and had a gentle matcha flavor. They would also be delicious with nuts, chocolate, or other flavors🤤. I shared some with my husband, who was thrilled😂. He looked so happy🤣. I’m so glad I saved someꉂ🤭. Lunch. Seven-Eleven’s Crab Tomato Cream Pasta🍝. It’s a little pricey, so I only buy it occasionally, but I love this pasta🤤. I also love the Bolognese version☺️🫶🏻. #JatomugiTea #CrabTomatoCreamPastaThe tomato sauce and white sauce are creamy🤤✨. I’m so bad at eating pasta with just a fork, so it always takes me so long😂. It takes forever to eat😂. I just keep going around in circles🤣. I want to learn to eat smarter🥹lol. Dinner. I’m making “Unohana” using a recipe from cooking expert Ryuji. I’m making a lot and keeping it on hand 💭. Unohana. 2 teaspoons sesame oil . 70g carrots. 4 chikuwa (fish cakes) . About 2 pieces of fried tofu. Stir-fry until softened. 150g okara. Loosen up the okara and fry a little. 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce . A pinch of salt. 1 tablespoon sugar . 1 tablespoon mirin . 4g bonito flakes. 250cc water. Stir-fry over low heat. I forgot to turn the heat down to low and left it on medium 😇. Add some green onions. Once everything is well combined, the “Unohana” is ready. Store the leftovers in a storage container. It’s a lot 😂. Chicken and onion stir-fry with mayonnaise and ponzu sauce. The main dish is a stir-fry of chicken and green peppers. 200g chicken breast. 1 tablespoon cooking sake. 1 tablespoon potato starch . I seasoned chicken breast. Chicken thighs are fine too🙆🏻♀️. 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger. 1/2 teaspoon grated garlic. 1 tablespoon mayonnaise . 1 tablespoon ponzu sauce. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. I made a mixed seasoning. 1 tablespoon sesame oil . Seasoned chicken. A little salt. A little pepper. Grill until browned on both sides, then remove from the heat. 2 bell peppers. 1/4 onion. Fry until the onion is soft. Stir-fried chicken. Mixed seasoning. Once the flavors are well combined, “Chicken and Onion Stir-fried with Mayonnaise and Ponzu” is complete. Okinawa-style seasoned rice. Today’s dish is seasoned rice🍚. The stir-fry was tangy with ponzu and mayonnaise, making it a great dish to eat with rice 🥢. The chicken was tender ☺️. The takikomi rice was also consistently delicious ✨. My husband was very happy 🤭. Day 2. Honey Butter Toast. Today’s breakfast was a simple toast I often make. Cut the bread into a grid pattern. Spread a generous amount of honey and butter evenly over the bread. Toast in the toaster and it’s done ✨. For drink, we had potage 💭. #Potage #HoneyButterToastCutting the bread allows the butter to penetrate deeper, making it even more delicious 🥰. Today I’m going to the dermatologist to get some medication and then have lunch with my husband. 🌱 The knapsack I ordered arrived yesterday, so I’ll try it on before I head out. ☺️. Purchased: [Crisp] Knit Knapsack with Pocket. Ivory. I’ve been looking forward to this knit knapsack. 🧶 It has a pocket. 💭 It’s made of thick knit fabric and has a very simple design. It’s lightweight and has no metal fittings, which is great. 🤭 The shoulder strap length can be adjusted by changing the position of the knot. I tried out a fall-inspired look. 🍂 The knapsack looks so cute with a dark hoodie or outerwear. 🥰 But it would definitely look cute in a single tone… 🥹 lol. The black version was also cute. 🫶🏻. After my visit to the dermatologist, I went to a restaurant I’d been interested in for lunch. 🍝 I had shrimp and asparagus bread gratin and spaghetti Napolitana. The bread gratin was so filling! The Neapolitan pasta was delicious, with a nostalgic, old-fashioned flavor. ☺️🍝 The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely. 🫶🏻 After the meal, I purchased cutlery and coasters. I was thirsty, so I stopped by the cafe for a quick break. Fruitade Tea: Lemon & Raspberry Peach Milk Tea Lassi Float . My husband brought me some donuts as a souvenir from his business trip to Tokyo 🥰. Krispy Kreme donuts 🍩✨. Yay 🥳. My husband’s business trips have been increasing recently, so he sometimes brings me souvenirs. Donuts are all the rage in our house ☺️🍩. I always feel a little lonely when he’s on a business trip without someone to talk to, but he works hard at his job, so I stay home and take care of things ☺️✊🏻.
