ワカモレの日 | 9月16日

It’s a creamy, delicious dip that has become a staple of parties and gatherings. September 16th is National Guacamole Day. For years, Americans couldn’t enjoy fresh avocados from Mexico due to a strict import ban. But in 2007, that ban was lifted, opening the door for Mexican avocados to flood the US market. This change made avocados cheaper and more widely available, turning guacamole into the national obsession we know today, especially for major events like the big game. Today, we honor the simple perfection of this dip. A delicious reminder of how one little change can transform a classic dish. I’m Marlo Anderson with National Day Calendar, reminding you to celebrate every day.
