This time I would like to make the pie dough using a loaf of bread instead. The custard cream is an easy recipe to make in the microwave. I hope you’ll have a great time. Please have a look at it. Let’s start with the ingredients for the apple pie. Ingredients for custard cream will be introduced later. So here are the ingredients for the apple pie. Bread, apples, eggs, butter, sugar. Honey, cinnamon powder, and water. I will make it with these ingredients. The key ingredient this time is honey. Adding honey gives the sweetness a richness that makes it very tasty. And here cinnamon powder is optional. If you don’t like cinnamon, leave it out. And if you don’t have honey, substitute sugar and make it 2 tablespoons of sugar. And here are the ingredients for the custard cream. Milk, egg yolks, sugar, and pancake mix. These four ingredients are used to make this in the microwave. I will make it immediately. I will make custard cream. First add the egg yolks to the bowl. Be sure to add the egg yolks while straining them like this. The whitish part here like this is called karaza, which is the white string-like part between the white and the yolk. The rest is the membrane with a little bit left over. Just removing this one makes the custard cream smoother. Now add milk and sugar here. Let’s mix this well. And when well mixed, add sifted pancake mix here. OK. Then mix thoroughly to avoid lumps. Now let’s put a fluffy wrap here. And then heat this in the microwave at 600 watts for 1 minute. Now I take the plastic wrap off. Now I’m still in this state. Let’s mix these. Then I will wrap again. Then microwave again at 600 watts for 1 minute. By the second time, it’s pretty solid. Let’s mix this well. This is about as smooth as it gets. Wrap this again. Finish by microwaving at 600 watts for 40 seconds. Now prepare ice water in a bowl while heating. It looks like this. Now let’s mix well one last time. Now the custard cream is ready. Stick a tight wrap on the surface. Now cool it in the prepared ice water. The custard cream should be chilled rapidly. Cooling at room temperature can easily damage custard cream. Cool it as soon as it is ready. Now let’s take it off the heat as it is. We are going to make the pie filling. Cut apples in half. Then divide into four equal parts. After dividing it into 4 equal parts, remove the shaft and seeds in the middle. Peel the skin. Peel this as you would normally peel an apple. If you prefer to use them with the skin on, you can use them with the skin on. Cut like this. The apple is cut quite finely this time. Then I divide one more slice of the apple into four equal pieces. Then, two slices are put together and divided vertically into thirds again. Cut this in a circular motion horizontally. Cut roughly 1 cm wide. And here I do the same, first cutting it into 3 equal pieces. This is made 1 cm wide. Let’s cut this a little finer. The apple is now ok. So now going to make the apple compote. First of all, you have butter in the pan. Then you put it on the fire. The heat is medium. Melt half of the butter, spreading it throughout. When the butter is melted and slightly fluffy, add the apples here. Then quickly toss in the butter. Once the butter is incorporated throughout the apples, add the sugar and honey here. Now I will mix this one in. Water is gradually coming out of the apples. I mentioned this earlier when I was introducing the ingredients, but adding honey gives the sweetness of the apples a richness that makes it very tasty. So please give it a try. If you don’t have it, you can use sugar alone. Sugar has dissolved and water has come out. Then let’s continue to cook it over medium heat, stirring like this from time to time. Moisture is gone like this. Then finally, sprinkle cinnamon powder. If you do not like this cinnamon powder, you can skip it. Then mix. Now the apple is OK. Transfer to a bowl and remove from heat. The apple pie filling is ready and I want to wrap it up. First, let’s cut this bread ear. I will make an arranged recipe for these extra bread ears later. After cutting the bread ears, let’s crush these with a rolling pin. Make it thin like this, about 1-2 mm. So let’s cut the bread ears together. Stretch it out again with a rolling pin. This is ok. This time it will be for 5 pieces in total. The custard cream has cooled. Then I take off the plastic wrap. And mix this one well. If it becomes creamy like this, it is OK. It becomes thick and firm like this. Eggs are beaten. These eggs are used to stick the bread together. I will also use it for the final glazing. Mix this well. Then finally, strain the egg mixture, as it is also used for glazing. Then you can remove the caraza or membrane like this. The egg solution is now ready. Now I will wrap the apples and custard cream. First, I will apply the egg wash. First I apply around this. Put the ingredients in the back half. First is the custard cream. On top of this, put apples. If it is too much, it will be hard to close the mouth next time. The side without the apple. Make 5 slits. Wrap this over. Wrap like this. Then, finally, use a fork to bring the top and bottom pieces of dough together. Let’s close the mouth tightly by crushing it with a fork like this. It looks like this. I will make this more and more. Finished like this. Then I’m going to align the bottom because this edge is a little bit floppy. Cut straight here. Prepare the mouth nicely like this. Aligned corners like this. Now add water to this egg mixture. Mix this well. The thinner it is, the easier it is to make the surface shiny. Egg liquid is applied to the surface with glazing. Then let this surface dry a little. This will make it easier to get a glossy finish. During this time, preheat the oven. Now I will first bake it in the oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes. Now baked for 5 minutes. Then I will apply a second coat. This will make it more shiny. Painted like this. Then the next step is to raise the oven to 190 degrees and bake for 5-10 minutes. Baking time is up. The browning is nice, and the surface is a bit shiny like this. Now let’s cut the contents. Apples and custard are packed tightly together like this. Now I want to make simple cinnamon rolls with the leftover bread ears. First, heat butter in the microwave to make melted butter. Melted butter is made in this way. Then here are the ears of the bread. I will spread melted butter on the inner part. Sprinkle cinnamon powder here. If you have cinnamon sugar, you can use cinnamon sugar. I used cinnamon powder this time, so I would like to use cinnamon powder. Pour sugar or granulated sugar over this. If you use cinnamon sugar, you can skip the granulated sugar. Roll this up. When you roll this up, stick a toothpick through the end of the roll and you’re good to go. I keep making more and more of these. I made about 6 for now. I think it’s a good idea to wrap the ears in plastic wrap after you cut them because if you leave them as they are, they will dry out and crack a little like this when you roll them up. So I will bake this one in a toaster to a golden brown. It’s done. If it’s crisp like this, it’s done. Can either remove the toothpick or hold it in your hand and eat it. This is the completion. It’s done. Now, I would like to eat. Excuse me for grabbing. This is what it looks like inside. Let’s eat. The custard and apples inside are so good. And the bread is also delicious with a crunchy crust around it. And here are petite cinnamon rolls made with leftover bread ears. Now let’s have this one as well. The firmness of the ears of this bread is just right. The aroma of cinnamon spreads in your mouth and it is the size that you can eat in one bite, so I highly recommend it for a little snack. First of all, I used pancake mix for the custard cream and furthermore, I introduced a recipe that can be easily made in a microwave oven. The key is to heat it gradually and mix it well. This will give a very smooth finish. And the custard cream should be cooled in cold water as soon as it is done because it is very fragile. And when you cool it, wrap it tightly so that the surface does not dry out and cool it in cold water. And apple pie. I use 8 slices of bread this time. Can also make it with sandwich bread that has the ears already cut off at the supermarket. If you make it with bread, be careful not to put in too much apple and custard, because if you put in too much custard, the custard will come out from the inside during baking. And here is the egg mixture used for glazing. Two coats of this egg liquid gives a shinier and more beautiful finish. I added honey to this apple pie this time. Adding honey gives a rich sweetness, so please try this one too. If you don’t like cinnamon powder, you can leave it out. I used unflavored cinnamon powder this time, but there is also a product called cinnamon sugar. If you use this product, please reduce the amount of sugar by half. The cinnamon rolls I made with the last of the leftover bread ears are also very tasty and can be made with the same ingredients I used this time, so please try them. ・食パン 5枚(8枚切り)
・りんご 1個(200g)
・卵 1個
・バター 10g
・砂糖 大さじ1
・はちみつ 大さじ1
・シナモンパウダー 小さじ1/3
・水 大さじ1/2

◎カスタードクリーム
・牛乳 80ml
・卵黄 1個
・砂糖 大さじ1と1/2
・ホットケーキミックス 小さじ2

🥚ingredients
◎ Apple pie
・ 5 pieces of Bread
・ 1 Apple
・ 1 Egg
・ 10g Butter
・ 1 tbsp Sugar
・ 1 tbsp Honey
・ 1/3 tsp Cinnamon powder
・ 1/2 tbsp of Water

◎ Custard cream
・ 80ml Milk
・ 1 Egg yolk
・ 1 and 1/2 tbsp of Sugar
・ 2 tsp Pancake mix

    カスタードは少し硬めになってしまいましたが、あとは上手く再現出来ました✨
