美味しいチキン・マハラニ | レストランスタイルのレシピ

Delicious CHICKEN MAHRANI | Restraunt Style Recipe

Hi Friends 🤗, Join me to create Royal chicken dish that lives up to it’s majestic name.I am cooking restraunt -Style Chicken Mahrani,rich and delicious chicken curry for my dinner after a long travel.This flavourful chicken curry features tender bone-in chicken simmered in a creamy,spiced gravy made with yogurt,nuts and onion.You can add cream which I haven’t used.Addition of almonds, cashew nuts and aromatic spices give it a traditional Mughlai touch.
Slow cooked to perfection,this dish is perfect blend of nutty, creamy and mildly spicy flavours.Often served with naan, paratha,or basmati rice for a truly mughlai feast at home , especially when you are hungry and tired.

ingredients
chicken with bone : 700 g
onion : 2 medium
while spices
corriander seed: 1 Tbs
fennel seed: 1 tbs
cumin : 1 tbs
red chilly dry: 5-6
green cardamom: 4
black cardomom: 2
pepper corn : 10
mace : few
oil
curd 1 cup

green chillies 6
almonds 8
Cashew nuts : 6
I used walnuts

Marinade
garlic ginger paste 2 tsp
salt
black pepper: 1 TSP(fresh coarse grind)

directions
Marinate the chicken with given spices and put in fridge for 15 min
coarse grind all whole spices
make paste of almonds and nuts with green chillies,adding a little milk.
In a pan ,pour oil,add onion chopped
saute it don’t brown
add marinated chicken, cook for 5 minutes till chicken releases it’s water.add paste of nuts and green chillies
cool for a few minutes till chicken gets tender fifty percent.
Add coarse grind spices.
Cook for few minutes,till aroma comes
add curd and cook till chicken is done and little gravy is there.
add dry fengureek leaves
garnish with fresh corriander
Enjoy with Naan or chapaty.
