These honey mustard chicken sliders? Absolutely elite. 🥵 We’re talking crispy fried chicken tossed in my super easy, 3-ingredient honey mustard (yes, it’s that good), loaded on pretzel buns with melty pepper jack, bacon, avocado, and cherry tomatoes. Perfect for pool hangs, beach days, or let’s be real—housing a few in the kitchen while the kids are fighting over markers in the other room.
INGREDIENTS
1 pack King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns
8 slices pepper jack cheese
⅓ cup crumbled bacon
2 cups Fried Chicken Tenders, roughly chopped (got mine from Publix hot bar!)
½ cup ‘3 ingredient honey mustard’ (plus more for dipping) *Recipe on the blog
½ avocado, cubed
¼ cup cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 pinch flaky salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Split the pretzel slider buns in half and place on a baking sheet. Evenly distribute cheese over both halves and sprinkle with bacon.
Place them under the broiler for a few minutes or until the cheese has melted and the buns are warm.
Meanwhile, toss chopped chicken fingers with honey mustard until coated.
Once the slider buns are ready, add the honey mustard fried chicken, then add avocado, tomato and a sprinkle of flaky salt.
Close up the buns and pull them apart. Serve with more honey mustard for dipping.
