✅ 4 large potatoes (preferably waxy)
✅ 2 cups heavy cream
✅ 2 cloves garlic (minced)
✅ 1 tablespoon butter
✅ Salt and pepper to taste
✅ 1 cup grated Gruyère or cheddar cheese (optional)
✅ Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
