Tom yum is one of the most famous Asian soups in the world. There are many different methods to make tom yum soup. I made this recipe as simplest as possible. I’ve used the store bought tom yum paste and Thai chilli oil paste. To bring more flavor to the soup I’ve added few extra herbs, galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, etc. And I added a bit of evaporated milk to make it creamy version. If you prefer the clear soup you can exclude the evaporated milk. If you cannot find all ingredients, just add the herbs available at your local stores. Tom yum paste already has whole lots of herb ingredients in it. You can find tom yum paste and chilli oil paste in most Oriental grocery store or supermarket Asian counters.
