Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe – Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Hey guys! Today I’m showing you my easy recipe for fettuccine Alfredo pasta. This creamy pasta with shrimps is amazing. If you want to make chicken fettuccine Alfredo, cut 1 lb of chicken breast in 1 inch piece, season with salt and pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder and cut for 6-8 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
4 Tbsp butter, divided
1 lb shrimps, peeled and deveined
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 of a medium yellow onion, minced
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 knorr chicken cube
3 oz cream cheese
2 cups heavy cream
1 box of fettuccine or spaghetti pasta
1/4 to 1/3 cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a large pan over medium heat, add 2 Tbsp of butter and allow it to melt. Add 1 clove of garlic, minced and the shrimps. Cook until shrimps are pink on both sides, about 3 minutes. Set aside.

2. Start cooking pasta according to package instructions. Make sure to stir pasta so they don’t stick together.

3. Melt 2 Tbsp of butter with olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add chicken cube and press it down with the spoon to dissolve it.

4. Add the cream cheese, stir it till it is as smooth. Pour in the cream and turn the heat to medium-high. Cook until the sauce bubbles slightly.

5. Add parmesan cheese and mix. Stir in the cooked shrimps and stir. Add drained pasta and mix to coat the pasta with the sauce. It’s ok if the sauce is a bit runny, it thickens up as it sits/cools.

6. Serve with garlic bread, yum

  6. Great Dish and thanks for the recipe below. I made this tonight, the same, except added broccoli to the pasta as it was cooking. Added Pecorino Romano cheese and lots of black pepper.
