What’s for Dinner? Chili Mac Bake a Leftover Makeover

  2. thanks for the idea, i was looking for something to help me get rid of the rest of my mac and cheese and my chili, they are already prepared and in the frig. I will break up the mac and cheese into a pan and add the chili, and top with a little more cheese for overage. But thanks for helping me figure out what's for dinner.

  3. I've made chili mac many of times but never like this, I just love your idea of making the nacho mac-n-cheese layer on the bottom and having the chili layer on top instead of mixing it all together. Now I want to make some chili just so I make this too. Looks delicious.

  6. Hey great idea. I used what I had in my pantry and followed your lead.I made this today and used 1 box of Kraft Delux Velveeta Pasta shells. I cooked the shells, drained returned to pot, added the package of Velveeta just to melt it. Buttered a tinfoil pan, poured in the cheese/pasta into the tinfoil pan then spread my left over chili(that I had froze earlier and thawed out) over top of the pasta. I then sprinkled half package of Kraft Italian shredded cheese on top. Baked 350 degrees for 40min…DELISH! Thanks for the original idea. Side salad and garlic bread….Now..that's an easy heavenly dinner. LIVE<LOVE>EAT Cheers gal!
