Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb. sirloin strips ¼ inch thick
1 yellow onion, cut into ¼ slices
1 sweet potato, peeled, cut into ¼ inch thick chunks
1 bell pepper, any color, cut into ½ inch wide strips
1 carrot, cut into ⅛ inch thick “coins”
Cilantro or parsley for garnish
Olive oil
Sriracha sauce, optional
2 tsp. Ancho chile powder
1 tsp. Ground cumin
1 tsp. Garlic powder
½ tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

Place the slices of sirloin, onion, sweet potato, bell pepper, and carrot on a baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil and toss with two forks to coat.

Combine all the spices in a bowl and stir. Sprinkle the spices over the fajitas, stir and then repeat. Add some sriracha sauce if you want a little more heat.

Spread the fajitas out on the pan into a single layer as much as you can. This will help everything char as much as possible.

Place the fajitas in the oven at 500 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes. Check the meat for doneness at 12 minutes and go from there.

Serve the steak fajitas with warmed flour tortillas, sour cream, and guacamole. Enjoy!

  10. Hi Robin, glad to see a new video. I've been watching you for a while now and think your channel is awesome! I'd like to share a recipe for Chicken Fajitas seasoning. I found this some time ago and think it's really awesome. This makes a pretty big batch of seasoning for more than one batch and I think is WAY better than the packaged stuff. I'm hoping you and the readers will try it. 2T Garlic Powder, 3T Onion Powder, 2T Oregano, 2T Cayan Pepper, 2T Ground Cumin, 2T Coriander, 8T Chili Powder, 5T Salt, 5T Smoked Paprika, 5T Brown Sugar. The original recipe also calls for 1T cloves, which I usually leave out because I don't feel it adds to the mix. I usually coat the onions peppers and chicken after its been cooked well and mix it in seasoning to taste. I'm hoping you and other fans will try this. Thanks and best wishes.
